skills needed. Enlist trusted friends. Focus on a few competencies. Practice, practice, practice. Be observant and reflective. Don’t expect immediate results. Learn from your mistakes. Acknowledge your successes.

The purpose of this self-evaluation is to measure your tendencies and abilities within various areas of emotional intelligence. The Emotional Intelligence Self-Evaluation measures five areas of emotional intelligence including: – Emotional Awareness – Managing One’s Emotions – Self-Motivation – Empathy – Coaching Others’ Emotions (Social Skills)

Read and discuss the scenario assigned to your team.

Think and decide how this situation can be resolved.

Assign each person on your team a role to play, for example, one teacher, two parents, one student; or teacher, parent, principal and student.

Present your plan to the class in the form of a skit.
