Definition of Leadership

Leadership is the capacity to lead One purpose of RBC is to call forth the leaders

within each of us, and take ownership of their own work

Caring Leaders Are:

Available and present Holds the big picture and its importance Maintains positive energy Tells the truth Hears other’s perspective and asks questions Shares important information to others Holds others in the highest regard even with their flaws Has clear expectations, shows competence,

encouraging what is working, and is a staff and patient advocate
