Meaning of Leadership
Leadership is a process by which a person
influences , motivate , direct others to achieve
a common goal.
In another word leadership means physically
strong and mentally sharp, and ready to take
any challenges, at any time and in any way.

Nature of Leadership
The leader must be serve as a guide.
The leader must have effective communication.
The leader must have capacity to influence others.
The leader must interact with others or followers. The leader must solve the problems of the followers.
The leader must have the attribute like
(a) intelligence
(b) ambition(c) aggressiveness
(d) politeness
(e) psychological stimulation

Importance of Leadership
Helping employees understand the company's
overall business strategy.
Leadership is about building teams andcommunicating so that everyone works
together.
It generates trust.
It motivate the employee towards the work.
It is the way to achieve goal successfully.

Limitation of Leadership
It do not have any unilateral control over
resources.
It can not directly control many factor like(a) Labor Market
(b) Environmental Forces.

Positive:-
The approaches from the leader to hisfollowers by rewards like employee
education, greater autonomy and otheraffirmative approaches.
Negative:-
The leader emphasizes a penalty or fine
This style make a leader to act as a nominalperson.

Autocratic Leadership:-
It make the distance with the employees.
In this the leadership take the full
authority and assume full responsibility .
It uses threat and punishment so it said
to be a negative leadership.

Through supervisor the higher levelmanagement knows their works and workersin organization.
Also the communication takes place bothupward and downward passes.
