Legacy of Caring SocietyMembers of this special group of donors have at least one thing in common: a commitment to the future of Berkshire United Way. They have made planned or deferred gifts, beyond the annual campaign, such as endowments, bequests, gifts of life insurance and living gifts that have been restricted to this purpose. In so doing, Legacy of Caring Society members help to insure an improved quality of life for future generations.

The Ruth P. and Nicholas Boraski Children’s Endowment Fund was created by Mr. and Mrs. Boraski. Each year, income from this endowment is used to support children’s programs. This lasting contribution will have a positive, long-term impact on the children of Berkshire County.

We fondly remember Anne Campbell, Jim Mooney and Dick White-head, generous community leaders who passed away in the last year. Each of them left a bequest to Berkshire United Way, and their caring lives on to the benefit of thousands of our neighbors.
