Eptisa finished fiscal year 2009 with a gross income of 166 million Euros. In terms of human resources, the total number of employees rose to 1,907.

The introduction of the latest technologies has allowed the reinforcement of our leadership by combining experience and innovation towards projects with high added value. In our daily activities, we use the latest technology and have our own software development department with skilful technicians who create top quality internal-use software as well as commercial software, always meeting the requirements of our most demanding clients.

For more than ten years EPTISA is positioned in the countries of SEE, as one of the largest consulting and engineering companies in the region, where we opened our subsidiaries in Romania and Turkey, and a Representative Offi ce in Bulgaria each taking care of their particular markets.

Since 2002 the activities of EPTISA in the Western Balkans experienced a signifi cant growth, leading to the establishment of a permanent structure in the area. Thus, the opening in March

2005 of our Regional Offi ce for South East Europe in Belgrade, Serbia, leveraged even more the commercial and management efforts of EPTISA in the region.

Composed of a multidisciplinary team of national and international staff, the Office is organised in three Competence Units (Infrastructure, Environmental Management, Health and Energy and Socio Economic Development and Public Administration Reform), and is specialised in the provision of technical assistance services to public institutions and to the private sector in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo (UNSCR 1244)*, FYR Macedonia*, Montenegro, and Serbia.

With more than 50 relevant projects implemented in the last seven years, nowadays EPTISA is recognised as one of the leading consulting and engineering groups in the region, being characterised for its proximity to the client, for its understanding of the regional peculiarities, and for its strong project management capabilities.

*EPTISA is taking the neutral position vis a vis the political issues within the region of the Western Balkans, clearly understanding, supporting and following the policy of the EU in this regard.

Our permanent commitment towards the highest quality standards and environmental damage minimisation allowed us to be awarded in the early 90’s with the quality & environmental standards certifications ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 issued by the competent Spanish authority (AENOR). Moreover, EPTISA is accredited by the ENAC (National Accreditation Body) as an Authorised Inspection Entity under norm EN4504 in the environmental field for water, air and noise. We are also recently awarded with the ISO 9001 management system standards certificate issued by the Spanish Certification Body – Bureau Veritas.
