Le porcellane: elegance is a choice

Le Porcellane nasce nel 1948 a Firenze, culla della tradizione italiana per la

produzione e la lavorazione della pregiata materia. Un genius loci riversatosi nelle

abili mani degli artigiani che hanno dato vita a pregiate realizzazioni.

Le stesse che oggi contraddistinguono il marchio Le Porcellane e che ne hanno

reso possibile l’affermazione in tutto il mondo. Nel corso degli anni, l’estrema

attenzione all’evoluzione stilistica dell’abitare ha portato a variazioni di modelli,

cromatismi e decorazioni, per suggestioni contemporanee che dialogano con

il recupero della tradizione. Ciò che è rimasto immutato è la qualità. Tutte le

realizzazioni sono intrise di artiginalità: dalla scelta dei modelli alla definizione

nei decori, fino alla realizzazione dell’opera, rigorosamente manuale, in un’ottica

di prezioso e rinomato “handmade in Italy”. Forme infinite, sinuose, seduttive,

essenziali, raccontano la passione per la materia e la sperimentazione.

La produzione si declina in forme per la luce e complementi d’arredo: animali,

figure, forme rinascimentali sono la base della ricerca dell’oggetto che può vestirsi

di luce e diventare lampada di prestigio. Il fascino di questi oggetti è valorizzato

dalla preziosità della materia prima e dalla sua lavorazione artigianale: ogni segno,

piega, traccia, è irripetibile e rivela la virtù della mano, la sua sapiente e generosa

irregolarità, che ripristina il piacere dell’unicità che la serialità annulla. Unicità

riaffermata anche dalle infinite possibilità di personalizzazione dei prodotti: affidarsi

alla permanenza e ampliarla secondo le proprie esigenze e inclinazioni, dilatare le

suggestioni del tempo in una sintesi tra memoria e presente, per interpretazioni

personali che diventano forme estetiche.

Le Porcellane was established in 1948 in Florence, the birthplace of the Italian

tradition of producing and processing fine materials. Genius loci is reflected in the

skilled hands of traditional craftsman, who create fine objects.

These distinguish the Le Porcellane brand today, making it acknowledged

worldwide. Over the years, meticulous attention to developing furnishing styles

has led to a variety of models, colours and decorations for contemporary ideas

that blend with traditional styles. Quality, however, remains unchanged. All our

products are steeped in traditional craftsmanship: from selecting models and

devising decorations, to manufacturing the product, strictly by hand, which

represents the precious and famous “Handmade in Italy”.

An infinite variety of sinuous, attractive and simple shapes reflects a passion for

materials and experimentation. Production is separated into shapes for lights and

furnishing accessories: subjects are found in animals, figures, and Renaissance

shapes, adding lights to create prestigious lamps. These charming objects are

enhanced by fine raw materials and traditional craftsmanship: each mark, fold

and line is entirely unique, revealing an artistic hand with its careful and generous

irregular lines and reintroducing delightfully unique objects not to be found in

standard production. Uniqueness is ensured by infinite ways of customizing

products: maintaining their fundamental features while extending these to suit

individual demands and tendencies, and expanding current ideas to harmoniously

include past and present for personal touches that become appealing objects.

LA NATURA E I SUOI FRUTTI… hanno ispirato questa collezione di articoli per

l’illuminazione. L’abbinamento con il cristallo e l’ottone rende questi complementi

unici nel loro genere, trasmettendo il fascino del classico abbinato all’estetica

contemporanea. La porcellana, frutto per frutto, è sapientemente lavorata a mano.

Viene cotta a “gran foco” a 1330° e viene proposta bianca candida oppure con

pigmentazione color avorio. I paralumi sono in seta eseguiti a mano. L’attenzione e

la cura dei dettagli esaltano la qualità totale di ogni pezzo.

NATURE AND ITS FRUITS… have inspired this lighting collection.

The combining with crystal and brass makes these complements as unique in their

kind, transmitting the charm of the classical one combined to the contemporary

aesthetics. The porcelain, fruit by fruit, is made by hands. It is kiln fired at 1330°c

and pure white or ivory finishes are available. Handcrafted lampshades are made

by silk. The attention and care of the details exalt the total quality of every piece.

elegante collezione. La porcellana, proposta in bianco puro, è interamente

lavorata a mano e viene cotta a “gran foco” a 1330°.

Il decoro è realizzato completamente a mano.

A REGAL COLLECTION… with rich gold and platinum elements introduced in the

lighting line and in its related complements. The elegance and the charm of the

queen, sometimes with her vanity and her whims, are the inspiration to this regal

collection. White pure porcelain is kiln fired at 1330°c.

Decoration is entirely handpainted.

UN MIRACOLO… dopo mesi di studio, grazie all’esperienza dei nostri maestri

artigiani, abbiamo potuto realizzare un’elegante e armonica stella in porcellana

con 12 punte. Il disegno è stato realizzato dallo Studio Carlo Bimbi Design.

La creazione di questa complessa forma geometrica tridimensionale ha dato

vita alla linea di illuminazione, unica nel suo genere per il processo utilizzato nella

produzione. Tutti gli elementi in porcellana sono legati a strutture in metallo cromo

e utilizzano la tecnologia LED.

A MIRACLE… after months of studies, thanks to the knowledge of our artisan

masters, we have been able to realize a fine and harmonic 12 points porcelain star

sculpture. The design has been made by Studio Carlo Bimbi Design.

The creation of such a complex tridimensional geometric shape has given life to this

lighting collection with its unique kind due to the kind trial used in the manufacture.

All the elements made by porcelain are binded to metal chrome structures and they

use LED technology.
