Institut français des Emirats arabes unis

L’Institut français des Emirats arabes unis est le service culturel de l’Ambassade de France. Il est chargé de promouvoir la création, la pensée et la langue françaises et de favoriser les échanges et les partenariats culturels, artistiques, éducatifs, universitaires et scientifiques entre la France et les Emirats arabes unis.

Son activité couvre un vaste champ d’actions: organisation ou participation à des expositions, conférences, salons et foires, festivals de cinéma, concerts, spectacles de danse et de théâtre ; formation d’enseignants de français langue étrangère ; certifications ; promotion de l’enseignement supérieur français ; soutien aux industries culturelles et aux institutions françaises dans leurs projets de développement aux Emirats.

Opérateur gouvernemental, l’Institut français des Emirats arabes unis est un interlocuteur privilégié des institutions culturelles et éducatives émiriennes. Il travaille en partenariat et en complémentarité avec d’autres acteurs de la diplomatie d’influence française actifs aux Emirats, notamment les Alliances françaises d’Abou Dhabi et de Dubai, les écoles françaises ainsi que d'autres partenaires influents tels que l'Université Paris-Sorbonne Abou Dhabi et le musée du Louvre Abou Dhabi.

The Institut français in the United Arab Emirates is the cultural department of the French Embassy. It is responsible for promoting French thought, creation and the French language, as well as fostering bilateral exchanges and cultural, artistic, educational, academic and scientific partnerships between France and the UAE.

It is involved in a large range of activities, including: organization of and participation in exhibitions,

Alliance Française Abou Dhabi

L'Alliance Française d'Abou Dhabi a commencé son activité en 1974.

Elle est présidée par Monsieur Zaki Nusseibeh et son conseil d'administration se compose de personnes travaillant sur la base du volontariat.

La mission première de l'Alliance Française est de promouvoir l'utilisation de la langue française et d’encourager les échanges entre les cultures francophones et toutes les cultures du monde.

L'Alliance Française organise des événements culturels, lieux où les cultures françaises et francophones s’allient avec les cultures locales.

French Business Group Abou Dhabi

La Chambre de Commerce Française a été fondée en 1974 à Abou Dhabi par des sociétés françaises. Aujourd'hui, elle représente un réseau d'affaires puissant et dynamique. Le French Business Group Abou Dhabi (FBG Abou Dhabi) est une organisation à but non lucratif dont le principal objectif est de promouvoir les relations d'affaires entre les Emirats arabes unis et la France.

Les principaux objectifs du FBG Abou Dhabi sont de:

• Promouvoir le commerce bilatéral, les échanges et les investissements entre la France et les Emirats arabes unis;

En outre, le French Business Group Abou Dhabi fait partie de l'Equipe de France de l'export vers les Emirats arabes unis, avec d'autres institutions françaises liées au commerce telles que le Service Economique de l'Ambassade de France, Ubifrance ou les Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur Français (CCE).

Le FBG Abou Dhabi est également engagé auprès d’organismes officiels émiriens d'Abou Dhabi : Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry et le Department of Economic Development.

Le FBG Abou Dhabi est géré par un conseil d'administration élu tous les deux ans par les membres et composé de 12 représentants. L'équipe permanente de 5 personnes est en contact quotidien avec les membres du FBG et les futures entreprises en prospection sur le marché des Emirats.

The French Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1974 in Abu Dhabi by French companies. Today, it represents a dynamic and powerful business network from various sectors.

The French Business Group Abu Dhabi (FBG - Abu Dhabi) is a non-profit organization whose main focus is to promote business relations between the United Arab Emirates and France.

The FBG's main goals are:

• To promote bilateral trade, exchanges and investment between France and the UAE;

• To represent, federate, inform, stimulate and serve the interests of its members;

• To support commercial endeavours of French Companies in Abu Dhabi and UAE companies in France.

The FBG - Abu Dhabi is member of the worldwide network of 113 French Chambers of Commerce operating in 83 countries (CCI France International), representing more than 30,000 companies. It also works closely with the other Chambers of Commerce and Industry in France, which represents 163 public agencies and over 3 million businesses. Moreover, FBG - Abu Dhabi has a strong collaboration with other trade-related French institutions such as the French Embassy's Economic Department, Business France or the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE). The French Business Group is also in relation with UAE ministries and Abu Dhabi official bodies.

Alliance Française de Dubai

L’Alliance Française de Dubai fondée en 1983 a pour mission de promouvoir la langue et la culture française et francophone aux Emirats Arabes Unis et de rapprocher les acteurs culturels des deux pays. L’Alliance dispense ainsi des cours de français pour tous niveaux et propose toutes les certifications internationales.

Elle est actuellement dirigée par M. Bernard Frontero qui gère une équipe de plus de 15 personnes qui se partagent le travail au sein des différents pôles pédagogie, culture, communication et administration. Les cours sont, quant à eux, assurés par 40 professeurs de français, tous diplômés universitaires en FLE.

Le siège de l’Alliance Française se trouve dans le quartier d’Oud Metha proche des principaux lieux de culture et d’enseignement. Il se compose de 12 salles de cours, d’un auditorium de 200 places modulable en salle de projection et d’une médiathèque entièrement rénovée qui propose plus de 20 000 ouvrages, DVDs et jeux vidéo sur sa mezzanine. L’Alliance française de Dubai est un partenaire de l’ensemble des activités culturelles sur la ville. Une antenne de cette Alliance a été créée au Mall of the Emirates afin de mieux répondre à la demande croissante pour les cours de français à Dubai.

The Alliance Française of Dubai was founded in 1983, its mission is the promotion of French and Francophone language and culture in the UAE and to bring together cultural actors from both countries. The Alliance offers French courses and certifications for all levels.

This French cultural center is currently managed by M. Bernard Frontero who manages a team of 15, who work in 4 main fields: courses, communication, culture and administration. Courses are taught by 40 French teachers, all graduated in French as second language.

The main building of the Alliance Francaise is located in Oud Metha, near to the biggest schools and cultural sites. Opéra bouffe en quatre actes, sur un livret de Lorenzo da Ponte d’après la pièce de Beaumarchais, Les Noces de Figaro a été créé en 1786 à Vienne. Son succès a été immédiat et ne s’est jamais démenti. Mozart y multiplie les airs emplis de verve et il confronte ses différents personnages au gré de nombreux ensembles (duos, trios, etc.) La version présentée ici est celle du Festival d’Aix-en-Provence 2012, mise en scène par Richard Brunel et dirigée par Jérémie Rhorer, avec notamment Patricia Petibon dans le rôle de Susanna. En partenariat avec la Fondation Orange et le CIC Lyonnaise de banque.
