Dear Comrades:Welcome to the 2020-2021 VFW program year. COVID-19 has presented many chal-lenges but as we move forward believe that we can be the top department in our great organization.Our PA VFW Department has been and will continue to be among the strongest in the nation.Past state Commander Wayne Perry did an excellent job. We must maintain the

willingness to grow and change. We can achieve all goals including surpassing 100% in membership and having total participation in all VFW programs.teamwork will help us achieve many great things if we all row in the same direction to our goals. District Commanders must work closely with Posts within their areas. District Commanders must keep our state leadership informed about the challenges we face. Program chairpersons must fully promote the activities they have and garner participation by all Posts. We must work to share proven practices and create solutions to address areas of concern. Inclusion of members from all walks of live must be embraced. We were all in the service and should continue to look out for each other now as we did before.Comrades, there is no doubt that we can overcome the chal-lenges we face and perhaps even achieve more than we imag-ined. I look forward to working with all of you as I visit as many Districts and Posts as I can. see you on the high ground!
