We could not fail to create a series of true gourmet wines that deserved to be named “Lúculo”. We trust in slow winemaking to ensure the unique character of our signature wines: Lúculo. Only through a pampered elaboration, we can get wines that are the true expression of Garnacha Atlántica from Navarra. Vineyard • 100% old Garnacha • BIO control of the vineyard, HAND-cultivation and -harvest • Selection of the best vines between 50 and 70 years old • Located in Sada and Aibar (Zone of Baja Montaña, northern Navarra) • 800 metres high • DO Navarra’s area most influenced by Atlantic climate Vinification • Malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques • 8-10 months ageing in French oak barrels of 225 litres to preserve its fruit quality Winemaker's notes This Garnacha will show you lovely dark cherry aromas surrounded by red and blue flowers - violet. Fresh and perfumed on the nose, fresh and elegant on the palate with development of spice, some tobacco and vanilla of the well-integrated oak. With the present, however soft structure, it will stay with you for quite a while. A complex wine that will develop even more complexity once in the glass or with a decanting before serving. Service suggestions On its own or with everything you think it will match with. Next to rich food it will best show its wealth of character. Best served at 16-18ºC.
