Level 1: Scheduled InspectionsIt’s all about peace of mind.

Using our process expertise and 100+ years of equipment manufacturing knowledge, we know exactly what to inspect, when to inspect it and what may require intervention. Scheduled Inspection reduces your risk of production losses and safety issues, and targets maintenance activities based on condition rather than time. All in all, it means the lowest sustainable cost for your equipment.

Level 2: Shutdown & Wear Parts OptimizationIt’s all about availability.

Shutdown & Wear Parts Optimization packages ensure everything goes well during major shutdown events carried out for maintenance purposes, and that your equipment gets back up and running safely and quickly. By optimizing your wear parts, you can also maximize productivity and increase wear part life, meaning fewer shutdown events for your equipment.

Level 3: Shutdown & Process OptimizationIt’s all about throughput.

Shutdown & Process Optimization’s main focus is to help you improve your mineral processing workflow to get the most out of your equipment. Working together to determine your ideal means of operating puts the focus on improving your productivity, safety and efficiency.

Level 4: Maintenance & Process OptimizationIt’s all about reliability.

While each of the previous packages ensure your equipment is operational and producing at the highest rate possible, Maintenance & Process Optimization packages, in addition, cover all the little things that keep your equipment running smoothly. Everything from developing a comprehensive maintenance strategy, to verifying and restoring lubrication levels on designated equipment, or analyzing vibration levels on crushers and grinding mills. Leave no stone unturned.

Our LCS packages are backed by terms and payment plans that work for you.

Payment solutionsMonthly payment

Paying a fixed monthly rate is the standard method available. We mutually predetermine your payment schedules to allow better predictability and fewer surprises.

Once we’ve come up with the scope of our plan (how much in terms of services, parts, etc.), a payment schedule is set up, laying out invoice amounts on a monthly basis.

Cost Per Ton

Maintenance events and emergencies can be unpredictable. Luckily, Cost Per Ton payment takes cost spikes out of the picture and charges you based on what you produce in a given month.

This allows you to better predict costs and manage your cash flow. It also ensures that your interests and ours are perfectly aligned to maximize production, as it’s in our interest to ensure your equipment runs at optimal levels.

Instead of receiving multiple invoices for maintenance, you’ll only receive one invoice with the calculated amount based on your actual production. This rate takes into account all associated costs for maintaining equipment, including Wear & Spare parts, labour, supervision and any other Metso services needed.

Payment deferral

Planning your costs can be tricky, especially when it involves scenarios like purchasing equipment or executing major repairs.

Deferral plans let you make payments on items like capital equipment, capital tools, Wear parts, Spare parts and set-up costs based on a more flexible schedule linked to your production.

Together, we agree upon a series of scheduled payments that work for you. You get the tools you need today and pay for them with the returns from your optimized production.

Performance measurement through key performance indicators

KPIs allow us to collectively track the performance of our project to identify exactly where our LCS team can take action to make improvements and save on costs.

Together, we decide on the KPIs that have the greatest effect on you: your business goals, your operating practices and your maintenance practices. KPI data is then collected and used to understand their respective impacts on your business.

Most importantly, we offer Bonus & Penalty Clauses linked to KPIs—on everything from maintenance cost reduction to unplanned downtime, and more—meaning both your goals and our goals are aimed at keeping production at optimal levels.
