Dear candidate,
Let me congratulate you on your decision to apply as AIESEC Université de Lomé Executive Board
President for the term 2015-2016.
Being a leader is the best thing that can ever happen to you. It’s the best way to challenge your
limits and see how every decision or action brings results in your organization and your life. As a
Local committee President, you will be an example for your members and someone would be like
you. It’s a big experience that will give you a whole new dimension on how you see things and how
you see AIESEC.
When you fill this application form, think on your dreams, on your expectations for the LC, on how
much you will learn from everything you do, on how many lives you want to change, on how much
time you will spend on AIESEC, on how many difficulties you will face, on how many people will
smile because of your work and one of the most important of all, on what you envision for our LC.
This position you’re applying for is a life changing experience, all of your life will change. You will

THE FOCUS OF THE TERM
LC AIESEC UL has eight focuses for their term:
Good administration: our organization is facing a great problem of administration (virtual
and physical system of administration is important for the LC)
To deliver focused AIESEC experiences to ensure the sustainability of AIESEC Université
de Lomé
AIESEC in Lomé will use focused partnerships in order to deliver oGCDP experiences
with sustainable quality in order to facilitate the participation of our members to X
program
Increase Incoming Exchange operations while ensuring member-driven sales occur during
and beyond our term
AIESEC in Lomé will use focused partnerships in order to deliver more ICX experiences
with sustainable quality
Ensure good management of our LC House partner
Members tracking and development plan
Long term plan for the LC (AIESEC UL 2020 plan)

LOCAL COMMITTEE PRESIDENT JOB DESCRIPTION
LCP is the final Leader for all functions and actions in the LC and has to ensure that the LC is
operating according to the AIESEC identity. LCP is the speaker of AIESEC UL ahead the
National entity in Togo and has the signatory authority.
I. LC MANAGEMENT
Strategic direction and sustainable development of LC
Organizational structure – revision and development
Shaping the organizational culture and identity in the LC– support its development
according to LC needs and AIESEC values
LC plan creation
Government and accountability
LC plan monthly tracking and review
Final responsible for achievement of LC goals and Plan fulfillment according to MoS
Coordinate the leadership accountability & coaching system
Chairing of LC Meetings, LC EB Meetings, LC Strategic discussions/taskforces, chief
delegate of National and international conferences
Prepare and deliver sufficient transition process
II. EB TEAM MANAGEMENT
Holding weekly EB meetings
Coordination of the team
Accountability within the EB team
Implement strategies to ensure financial sustainability for the LC.
Job Description, Performance Appraisal and Goal setting of the VPs
Regular coaching and follow-up of the team members
EB planning and evaluation
EB team forming and unity- set team culture

assembly will ask him/her questions during 10 min.(A projector will be

2. Identify 3 Key trends of the external environment that are shaping our market (LOME)
and explain briefly how those trends are influencing our Recruitment process,
exchanges program, project/events at AIESEC in Lomé.
3. List all customers of AIESEC UL. What should be AIESEC UL’s strategic approach
towards these customers to increase our exchange realization rate in the network ?
4. In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges for AIESEC Université de Lomé at the
moment? Which initiatives will you implement to overcome the challenges?
