IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:-We strongly recommend that a professional electrician install all direct wire fixtures.

-These Assembly Instructions are provided for your safety. It is important that they are read carefully and completely before assembling this Fixture.

-This product must be installed with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product.

-This Fixture has been rated for up to 60 Watt MAX Type B Candelabra Bulbs (NOT Included).

-Before starting installation of this Fixture or the removal of a previous Fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse from the fuse box.

WARNING:-Deviation from the Assembly Instructions may result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

-To reduce risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, always turn off Fixture and allowit to cool prior to replacing the bulb.

-Do not touch the bulb when the Fixture is turned on. Do not look directly at the lit bulb.

-Keep flammable material away from the lit bulb.

NOTE: This Fixture includes a pivot mechanism to ensure level hanging which should not be angled more than 15 degrees.

NOTE: Remove all parts and hardware from the box along with any plastic protective packaging and carefully lay all the parts out on a clean, flat surface.

DO NOT discard any contents until after assembly and installation is complete to avoid accidently discarding small parts or hardware.

Recommended Location for Use: Dry Indoor Environment Assembly Time: 30 Minutes

People Required: 2 or More People

Tools Required: Screwdriver, Wire Strippers, Wire Cutters, Electrical Tape

STEP 1:

STEP 2:

Thread the Center Column (B) into theSocket Assembly (C). Twist until tight.

STEP 3:

Hook the top of each Support Rod (D) into the loops on the Center Column (B) and attach the Rod bottom to the Fixture Body (H)hooks. NOTE: You may need to adjust the pivotingrod on the Center Column. Hold the Column’splate and pivoting rod to adjust.

Adjust the Chains (E) to your desired length byremoving the links if needed. You may need chain pliers. Attach one end of each Chain to one of the loops on the Center Column (B) topand then attach the other end to the corresponding loop on the underside of theCanopy (A).

NOTE: Before starting installation of this Fixture or the removal of a previous Fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse from the fuse box.

Screw the Mounting Screws (F) onto the Mounting Strap (I). Attach the Mounting Strapto the Outlet Box using the Mounting Screws.

Wrap the Ground Wire from the Fixture aroundthe Ground Screw on the Mounting Strap andthen connect the two White Wires from theFixture to the White Wire (neutral wire) from the Outlet Box. Connect the Black Wires fromthe Fixture to the Black Wire (live wire) fromthe Outlet Box. Cover the connections usingthe Wire Connectors (G).NOTE: Black Outlet Box Wires may be red orsmooth. White Outlet Box Wires may be ribbed.

STEP 4:Weave the Cord and bare Ground Wirethougth the left Chain (E) about every third link.NOTE: The weight of the Fixture must be takenby the Chain. When adjusting the Cord, makesure that the Cord is longer than the Chain.

STEP 7:Attach the Canopy (A) by screwing in the Lock Nuts (J).

Cleaning & Care:To clean, wipe the Fixture with a soft, dry

cloth. Avoid the use of harsh or abrasive chemicalsas they may damage the finish.

STEP 8:Screw in the Bulbs. This Fixture has been ratedfor up to 60 Watt MAX Type B CandelabraBulbs (NOT Included).

Connect the breaker and turn on the Light.
