    Champions of Law

    The Champion of "aw can (e anone who ser-es well one of the four known Gods of "aw0

    lluminas) ,aster of "i!ht5 /olkan) ,aster of 6en!eance5 #aora) 7atron of 8ltimate Wisdom and

    9nli!htenment5 and rianka) ,istress of the ,oon and the Chaos :unt. The ordinar) unad-enturousinha(itants of the Old World know either -er little a(out the "ords of "aw or fear and distrust their

    worshippers as much as the fear and distrust Chaos worshippers. The see them as two sides of thesame coin) which technicall) the are. To some) namel the spirited and ri!hteous) "aw offers hope in

    an increasin!l chaotic world where ;ustice is rare and sufferin! runs rampant. To these fewad-enturers) "aw !i-es aid so that the ma correct the ills (rou!ht a(out upon humans and others (

    the 7owers of Chaos.

    Serving Law

    The 7atron communicates with his "aw Champion ( means of dreams) -isions) portents) or

    di-ination. The link (etween the Champion and his 7atron) due to the irre!ularities in the warp) is

    tenuous and irre!ular) so it is rare for 7atrons to !i-e direct orders. The "aw Gods use their Championsto further their own aims and desires in the Warhammer World. /ometimes these !ods send Champions

    of "aw to foil Champions of Chaos) reco-er stolen or lost artifacts) destro lairs) co-ens) or temples of

    Chaos worshippers) or simpl to !ain new or redisco-er lost knowled!e. The Champions life (ecomesan endless series of >uests) crusades) and raids a!ainst the forces of Chaos.

    The Champions Fate

    successful Champion will attract the attention of his 7atron who will then reward him in asuita(le wa. Rewards can include an enhanced profile) fa(ulous weapons or armor) a few lawful

    Followers) or a few uncann superhuman a(ilities. The rewards are lar!el ad-anta!eous and none ofthem are harmful.

    =f a Champion is true to his Gods ideals and -er successful in furtherin! them) he will recei-eenou!h rewards so that one da the 7atron will reward him with the ultimate !ift of all ?? immortalitA

    The Champion (ecomes an immortal /eraph and enters the Realm of "aw to sit alon!side his 7atron.

    The new /eraph lea-es the mortal world (ut hisFollowersstill continue to re-ere and respect him) (utnow as the powerful immortal that he has (ecome. The former Champion ma e-en !rant aid to his old

    (and of ad-enturers andFollowers) and mi!ht recommend to his "ord those deser-in! of (ein!

    ele-ated to the status of Champion of "aw.Few Champions are pious or fortunate enou!h to attain /eraph status. For some) the (lood end

    comes all too soon at the hands of Chaos. For others) the power of Chaos corrupts e-en these defenders

    of ;ustice and sta(ilit.

    Chaos corrupted the Wi@ards master recentl resultin! in the masters career chan!e to

    #emonolo!ist. The master tried to sacrifice the Wi@ard (ut he escaped and now wants to ;oin the

    Champion and seek out practitioners of e-il ma!ic where-er the reside and destro them. The ClericIs

    God char!ed him with spreadin! the Word and the Cleric fi!ures ad-enturin! with the Champion will

    the Chaos Rewards Ta(le !i-es rewards to Champions of Chaos. Champion of "aw rewards are notdi-ided into !ifts and attri(utes ?? in effect all of these rewards are !ifts as none are harmful and most

    are (eneficial.

    This allows him to think clearl in stressful situations as well as in non?stressful ones.

    This reward increases the Champions nt) Cl) and ,4( H%B each time this reward is !i-en

    up to a maximum of %BB in each. When the Champion reaches %BB in each characteristic) he recei-esno (enefit should theIntellectualreward (e !i-en further (ut the reward still counts towards an

    happens automaticall if the Champion rolls anApotheosisresult on the Champion of "aw Rewards

    Ta(le and alread has %B or more Champion of "aw rewards. The Champion -anishes from thematerial uni-erse as his 7atron draws his spirit into the warp and a(sor(s it. :owe-er) the Champions

    indi-idual mind and personalit are not destroed ?? it can emer!e from the God at an time and

    manifest itself as a /eraph. The /eraph looks ;ust like the Champion it e-ol-ed from. =n fact) the/eraph can return to the material uni-erse) assume normal stature) and walk around >uite unnoticed)

    -isitin! old friends and speakin! with them if he wishes. :owe-er) a /eraph would onl do this if his

    mortal friends were in some kind of dan!er.+ecause the /eraph retains a stron! emotional attachment to his old comrades) he can inter-ene
