Laurence Hobbs Orchids Dear Orchid Society Committee Members and Friends, Hello everyone, all at LHO have been greatly cheered by the Societies and Orchid groups' virtual table top shows and fantastic photograph displays and have enjoyed the lively chatter throughout the recent months – it’s been a great boost for us. During this time we have been focusing on building our stock with a wider variety of both species and hybrids, including miniatures, which we hope will be interesting, including African species, Cattleyas, Dendrobiums. Species and hybrid Paphs and Pleurothallis. We are also offering starter packs for beginners or special collections at reduced rates. Laurence is also available to offer help and support where needed, (call him on 07961 350053). Attached is our latest plant list; please may we ask if you could kindly circulate this letter and/or attached list to your members and other interested parties? Lists can also be sent out to members via email or post, please advise. We are continuing to send out plants by post to all areas in the UK. We can also supply information and pictures (via iphone/email) on plants available. Throughout the November lockdown we are offering discounts on plants, or free postage We also remain open to visitors during November– UK Govt social distancing recommendations apply at all times. Please call in advance to arrange a suitable time so we can keep numbers at safe levels. Passing visitors need to be aware that the greenhouses might already at safe capacity levels; please park and ring Laurence before entering on 07961 350053.
