1.8 PARAPHRASING

The present capitalism is equivalent to the evolution of the automotive

industry. Even if it started in France and Germany, its departure was in

the United States. The massive production began when Henry ford

decided to change the product line from the Chicago meat industry to

mechanical manufacturing and, in the 1920s, with help from of the

administrative ideas of Alfred Sloan, General Motors was conquered

conquering the world’s car industries. Preservationists began to

condemn the industry for making inefficient models which contributed to

global warming by using too much fuel, after 1970, but it could be a

result of the ‘Planned obsolescence’ which was full-blown after the

Second World War in order to encourage people to buy new cars more

often that it was necessary because of the common model changes.

Despite the fact that a lot of important car companies are struggling

because of the static markets and decreasing benefits, nowadays, the

strongest brands in the world are owned by the industries.

Although, the inhabitants in the Antarctica during winter are less than a

pair of hundreds, not too much many people had gone there until this

time. Nonetheless, the proportion of the ice and snow pollution situation

was recently draft in a report made by an agency from New Zealand.

Almost 6 decades of actions have been accompanied some research

centers because, even if it is one of the least visited places in the world,

the Antarctic harsh cold does not allow the regular decomposition

processes.

The Antarctica has less snowfall than the Sahara desert, against

common belief. Maybe because of global warming the ice is decreased

and things like cans of beer or dead animals which some years ago were

gradually hidden by precipitation are being visible now. Even though

there is a treatment where the countries in touch with the Antarctica

defined to take home the waste and moderately improved the problem

in the last 10 years, experts do not want to remove the rests of the first

expeditions made during the 1900s because they consider those wastes

must to be conserved for their historical value.
