[Company Info] Greetings from los Hermanos de Latino America Unida, Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Incorporated – an emerging Latino-based fraternity founded in SUNY Buffalo and encompassing over 500 men across the eastern and Midwest region of the United States. Since 1985, Latino America Unida, Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. has worked to help the Latino community by promoting Cultural awareness and striving to ensure that more and more Latinos continue to not only attend but graduate from college. Right under the bright lights in New York City, where the Fraternity movement originated, we will reminisce on our beginnings, take a moment to recognize those that laid our foundation, and inspire future fraternal leaders to carry the torch long into the future. The 28th Anniversary celebration will provide attendees with an opportunity to network and reconnect, but will also be educational as the committee is working to secure a prominent Keynote Speaker. In addition, the National Executive Committee will also announce its annual award recipients for those individuals and groups that have made a significant impact in our communities. As current and potential future partners we invite you to join us on the evening of Saturday, December 14th, 2013 to partake in the celebration and experience all that being a part of this family means. About Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Latino America Unida, Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. is a

brotherhood of professionals who promote Latino advancement at colleges across the nation. The fraternity serves as a support system that helps its members realize their personal and professional goals. Hermanos (brothers) of Lambda Alpha Upsilon strive to become positive and productive role models within their universities, communities and professions.

As Lambda Alpha Upsilon continues to develop, it has maintained its

principles and purpose, for these are what distinguish the brotherhood and guide its members through their personal and professional endeavors. All these things can be combined to express one common belief. No matter what obstacles or difficulties stand in our way; “¡Venceremos Porque Nacimos Para Triunfar!” (We will overcome because we were born to triumph!) We are all given the opportunity to live a significant life and as such, it is our responsibility to leave our mark on society.

Mission

The mission of Latino America Unida, Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. is to be a network of professionals that promotes brotherhood, scholarship and service to the community. The fraternity promotes brotherhood by providing its members personal and professional support on an undergraduate and alumni level. Our members pursue scholarship not only for professional advancement, but to attain personal growth. The brotherhood serves the community by sponsoring events which aide those in need, promoting cultural awareness, and enriching the collegiate environment. Every member must continue to uphold the mission and goals of the fraternity, as they are the common values that distinguish us as Hermanos of Lambda Alpha Upsilon.

Vision

The vision of Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity is to expand our brotherhood and the services we provide to our communities while maintaining our culture and values. All endeavors pursued by the fraternity, as well as its members, must serve to realize and enhance the mission and goals of our fraternity.

Attendees

Attendance at this event is open to the public however priority will be given to members of the Fraternity. Special invitations will be extended to previous board members, founders of the Fraternity and members of the Greek Community. Our intent is to engage the entire spectrum of past and present fraternal leaders, from the beginning of our fraternal movement to our most recent inducted members. We are expected to see many undergraduates and professional alumni representing states from the entire Northeast Region.
