What is MAP?

• Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Tests– Computer adaptive tests – Given to you three times a year (Fall, Winter, Spring)– Winter Assessment will be given to you as followed:• Reading Test

Do you know your MAP Fall Scores?

• If yes, that is great! • If not, please ask your College Prep Teacher or your Counselor for

your scores.– Option 1: Ask your question via an email.

• It is very important you know your scores because– Your scores tell you where you are according to your grade level – What your goal is for each area (Math, Reading and Writing) in order to

get yourself ready for High School, College, and/or Career.Respect Responsibility Safe

Now that you know your scores … Are you ready for High School, College and Career?

• I am ready for High School if my scores for– Math is at least 230 RIT– Reading is at least 230 RIT– Language is at least 230 RIT

• If you am not at the score of 230 RIT on either one of these areas, you will have the opportunity to improve those scores via the Winter Scores.

• You can also enroll yourself in the Saturday Academy for both– Math Academy and– Reading & Writing Academy

• More information about the Academy, visit the Counseling Office and talk to your Counselor.

– Broken or Damaged Screens• Replacement: $60 (tax, shipping and labor included)

– Chargers• Replacement: $25 each (tax & shipping included)

• Lost / Stolen Chromebooks– With Insurance

• Please ask Ms. Cook or Ms. Bruner for more information– Without Insurance

• Replacement of the lost/stolen Chromebook is to be responsible by parent/guardian and student• Chromebook: $300 each

• Any other damages are to be determined based on the severity of the damages/lost

• Operating Hours (effective on January 4, 2016)– Monday – Friday

• Chromebook Check Out: 8:00 – 8:10• No Check Out after 8:10.• Open both lunches

– Afterschool Hours: • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2:30 – 6:00• All check in for loaners will be done at the end of the school day.
