UCW Spring THANK OFFERING

The Camrose United UCW would like your help in supporting our Spring Thank Offering. This includes Seeds For Guatemala and Olive Saplings for Palestine & East Jerusalem. Envelopes are available at the display in the CE Hall or your donations can

be given directly to the office. THANK YOU for your assistance.

Card Ministry at Camrose United We are starting a Card Ministry Project, to let folks know that we are thinking of them in both tough times and in times of celebration. The members of the Card Ministry Team will receive card requests through the Office or from weekly church announcements or by direct contact. The current members of the Card Ministry Team are: Marg Prestage and Gwen Sheets, with support from MaryAnn Pastuck and also Colleen Nelson, both members of the Pastoral Care Committee. Some of the occasions for which a card might be appropriate are: Get Well Soon for people in hospital, Birthdays both regular & milestone, Congratulations for births, weddings, awards, graduations, anniversaries, retirements, Best Wishes in your new home, Thank You for special volunteer service to Camrose United, Sympathy on the occasion of the loss of family & friends and also Family Accomplishments.

Do You Have a FUNERAL DIRECTIVE? A Funeral Directive is used by an individual to indicate their preferences for the manner in which their funeral service is conducted. This could include preferences for hymns, scripture readings and perhaps a request for a particular soloist or minister. Also, the location of the service and the funeral director can be chosen. Currently Camrose United has Funeral Directives from fourteen of our congregation members. If you would like to have a Funeral Directive prepared or would to discuss the benefits of preparing this notification, please contact Minister Liz or Minister MaryAnn. Or you may contact the church office for a brief overview of the value of a Funeral Directive

“Subscription Sundays Scheduled”

The Membership Committee will be hosting an opportunity to either order or to renew your subscription to the OBSERVER. Prior to and after the services on March 18th, 25th and April 1st, members will be in the foyer to receive your orders. Founded in 1829, the United Church Observer is the oldest continuously published magazine in North America. A yearly subscription is only $25.00 and will have some great articles to stimulate your mind.

Looking for Office Help If you would be available to volun-teer in the office (Monday-Friday mornings) please contact Darlene Pierson 780-672-4007 or leave your name at the office: 780-672-2176
