As the wind blew across my sandy

face and the clear blue water

crept up my feet, my stomach

began to twist as I looked into the

distance. The sun shone down on

the water making it glisten. I

splashed around in the water

allowing it to become unsettled.

Topic: Annoying Max finds the

nugget

“Oh no,” I sighed. I saw my

annoying classmate get off the

bus; this is going to be fun because

this is the entrance to the gold

mine. We followed the mine down

the tunnel while we had torches. I

saw a shine in the distance but

unfortunately I said out loud,

“What’s that?” Max sprinted and

picked up what looked like a gold

nugget.

Topic: Dogs are better than cats

Are you looking for a pet? Well if

you want a pet get a dog because

they are much better than cats.

Dogs accompany you all the time

as cats just roam and do whatever.

Dogs also bark, which can get

annoying while trying to sleep but

cats scratch and honestly I’d rather

lose some sleep more then get

scared because of some cat.

Also dogs protect you and cats

watch you.

Topic: Annoying Max finds the

nugget

“Yes! I found it!” I saw the gold

sparkly nugget. Oh no, I think to

myself, why did it have to be him

who found it! I knew I was in for it

when I heard him yell, “Darcy”. He

came running over to me, “I found

it, I found it”. I told him to be quiet

and then ran off.

I was twirling and spinning in front

of hundreds of people. I did a leap

thinking I could complete my

landing but CRASH! I landed off the

stage. My dance teacher called

the ambulance. I was raced to the

hospital and my mum was there.

Running through the hallway and I

didn’t see the doorway, SMACK!

I’m on the ground and in the

corner of my eye I see

something……. I see something in

the window. What could it be? I’m

home all alone feeling terrified.

BANG! I run into

the window.

Topic: Caught in a fight at the

football

He threw a fist at me. My head was

throbbing with pain and I had a

shiver go up my spine. I dodged it.

The second fist I had no chance, it

hit me. I was in shock and blood

was pouring out of me. I heard

sirens and some nice people lifted

me up in an ambulance.

Topic: Caught in a

fight at the football

My fist was throbbing, my

ears were ringing and I

couldn’t feel the side of

my face. I didn’t know

what to do, there were

too many people

around me. I couldn’t

get out, he swung a

punch at me. He just

missed but then he threw

another one and

someone bumped into

my back and flung me

into his fist. I fell straight

to the floor, my head

was ringing. I was seeing

stars then I felt something

run down my

face, the

punch split my

face open. I

couldn’t really

see out of my left eye.

finds the nugget

“Where is it? “Arrrh over

here maybe? “No” I

swear I’ve looked

absolutely everywhere. I

must find this! Oh no,

what has just

happened? “Hey

everyone, I found it!”

Max shouted as he lifted

up the biggest, shiniest

piece of gold. It’s so big

I’m surprised he can

even lift it above his

head. I was so mad I

wanted to steal it while

he wasn’t looking.

I’ve been looking for

this forever.

Looking inside the cave

and Max said, “Ha ha I

found it, I found it!”

rubbing it in everyone’s

face. Why did he have

to find the gold nugget?

He is going to rub it in the

whole day and is going

to brag all day. He is so

annoying!

Oh no, my sister went in

the water. Please don’t

splash the water but the

water went all over me.

“Mum, mum”, I said to

tell on my sister and as I

was trying to get away

my book went on the

ground and water got all

over it. I went to get my

towel but it was soaking

wet so I decided to have

a water fight.

Animal

I love this animal. I’ve

done so much work on it

before. They have a big

mouth, huge teeth and if

I say so they have one of

the cutest smiles ever,

but some people might

think differently. They

come in all different sizes

some of them are

extremely FLUFFY!!!

They’re mostly a tan,

brown or grey colour

and they are mostly

known for their

BIG…..RED…..BOTTOMS!

Topic: Dogs are better

than cats

Meow, purr, purr, purr.

They are cute, soft, fluffy

and kind hearted. They

are cats! Cats are way

better than dogs

because cats are easier

to look after except for

the poop part of a cat.

When you’re got to go,

you got to go! Anyways

cats are also way better

then scary furious dogs.

You don’t need to feed

them as much as a

big ol’ dog.

Arrrr! There was so much

blood. A hand flew

across my face whilst

sweat was dripping

down my shivering body.

I could hear sirens and

people were picking me

up off the ground. I

couldn’t believe my

mates turned on me

during the game.

I am surfing in the sea

surf. It can be fun and

did you know that a dog

and cat can surf? Surfing

can be done by anyone.

Eww that smells, yuck! It

is pink; it has a weird

looking nose and big

ears. It plays in mud and

goes oink, oink! It has

four legs and a tail that

has a twirl in it. Do you

know what animal I am

talking about?

By Marlee G-W

Boom! Boom! there’s

fancy lights, green, blue,

purple, pink loads of

them and it’s really loud.

Oh this is crazy, it’s time

finds the nugget

NO! NO! NO! he found it

in the cave. I was so

close and now he is

rubbing the golden

nugget in people’s

faces. The golden

nugget is a bomb……

Run! Run! Run! Kaboom!

Max was sad.

By Mathew L

Topic: Ghosts

Run! This white thing is

going through the walls

trying to get me

because I opened the

box. I screamed in horror

to see a dead end! The

‘thing’ thought I was

cornered but I ran

towards it. When it was

about to grab me I slid

under it towards the

secret entrance to my

room. I opened my door

in time and closed it in

the nick of time. I can’t

go to see my friends Will,

Zack and Mathew

without being seen out in

the hall. I guess I will

have to make a run for it

or call them on my

phone. No connection!

No connection of any

kind.
