INTRODUCTION
The series in the Bora Laskin fonds were created according to specific document categories such as student notes, teachingmaterial and research notes with the exception of the Canadian Judicial Council and the Industrial Standards Act Inquiryseries which are subject related.
The fonds is incomplete. Chief Justice Laskin had already discarded many of his papers which he had accumulated as auniversity professor before his papers were donated to the National Archives of Canada. The Reasons for Judgments - CaseFiles - Supreme Court of Canada series is also incomplete.
The series descriptions in the Inventory Entry provide useful details on the arrangement and description of each series andsub-series of the fonds.
