Jesus lives within us. We can change the world!
Jésus vit en nous. Nous pouvons changer le monde!
WEEKLY MASS SCHEDULE
Consider LOVE…For all of us, it is
so easy to choose our friends; those who
share similar values and interests. For
many, family is family; they are the
people that we are stuck with! The
largest number of people in the world we avoid; those
whom we choose to exclude because of religious belief,
nationality or social status; those whom we judge to not
live according to our standards; and the list of those we
avoid can be endless…
Look to Jesus! He reaches out to everyone as we hear in
the Gospel. He asks the Samaritan woman for a drink;
talks to her about her life; does not judge her; actually
offers her the gift of eternal life when he asks her for a
drink. He wants her to respond to him in a spirit of love.
Jesus is seeking our love as well. The RCIA scrutiny of
“Living Water” teaches us that Jesus yearns for OUR love.
He wants us to desire Him who offers us the gift of
eternity by giving Him our love! Prayer allows us to fill
our heart with Him and to gain the insight to know what
needs to be expelled from within so that we may be
strengthened to live fully the faith that we profess.
Considérez l'AMOUR… Pour nous tous, il est si
facile de choisir nos amis; ceux
qui partagent des valeurs et des
intérêts similaires. Pour
beaucoup, la famille est la famille;
ce sont les gens avec qui nous sommes coincés! Le plus
grand nombre de personnes au monde que nous évitons;
ceux que nous choisissons d'exclure en raison de
croyances religieuses, de nationalité ou de statut social;
ceux que nous jugeons ne pas vivre selon nos normes; et
la liste de ceux que nous évitons peut être interminable…
Regardez vers Jésus! Il tend la main à tout le monde
comme nous l'entendons dans l'Évangile. Il demande à la
Samaritaine un verre; lui parle de sa vie; ne la juge pas;
professons.

Feast of St. Joseph: St. Joseph was
called by God to an extraordinary life. He
was, presumably, an ordinary man before
we meet him in the Gospels, albeit a man
of deep faith and trust in God. Joseph tried
to follow his young wife, but God had him
in sight and sent an angel to make known
His plan even if it was not fully understood
to Joseph at the time. Joseph obeyed God throughout his
life. He championed the Holy Family through the early
years, but had passed to eternal life before Jesus’ public
life began.
His abiding and eternal relationship with his beloved
Spouse and his foster Child make Joseph a powerful
intercessor for the whole Church. He rightly is invoked
for the blessing of a happy death, passing to eternal life,
as he did, in the love of Jesus and Mary.
March Break: We wish our students and their
families, as well as leadership and staff of our schools a
restful and pleasant March break.
RCIA - 2nd Scrutiny: As the RCIA Elect move toward their reception into the Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil - they and each of us, are called to scrutinize our hearts. The 2nd Scrutiny will be celebrated at the 11:15am Mass next Sunday at St. Joseph. Thank you: We would like to thank Fran Balogh of St.
Joseph’s for her many years of service as head of
the Funeral Luncheon Committee. We are
sincerely grateful for all your time, hard work
and dedication you have given over the years.
