E.F.Harrold Ltd is a family farming business currently managed by Christopher Harrold and Nicholas Harrold. The Company was founded in 1955 by Christopher’s father who, as a third generation farmer, started out on his own in 1932 taking on a tenancy on the Blickling Estate, where he continued to expand his farming operations until his death in 1980 and at that point farming some 1200 acres.

The Harrold’s continued to expand, purchasing land in 1990 1993 and 1999 taking the farm to 2700 acres, owned and rented. The company also farms a further 200 acres of Organic land for a neighbouring land owner. As a large scale farming company we always have to monitor our effect on our surrounding environment.

We were involved in a ten year Countryside Stewardship scheme, and now embrace the Entry Level Stewardship scheme.

We are currently running a large modern fleet of machinery. Most of these machines are fitted with GPS guidance systems currently running at an accuracy of 2cms, (FENDT AUTOGUIDE).
