Sharing experience E.g.: clothes hanging in the dark looks like a ghost, flashing lights and etc 1. Teacher show the picture of the poem.2. Teacher asks the pupils to guess what the objects are in the room.3. Pupils to fill the bubble map on things that are scary in the dark but are not scary in the light.4. Pupils to share their experience of being scared of unnecessary things in the dark 5. Teacher explains that things are not always what they seem in the dark and there is nothing to fear. To gives more input to the pupils.

1. Teacher introduces the title of the poem.2. Teacher reads the poem and shows the actions.3. Teacher gets all the pupils to stand up and recite the poem together. To build pupils confidence. To practice the pupils thinking skills.Moral value:- You dont have to be afraid of the dark

Production(25 minutes)Pairs Performance1. Teacher pairs up the pupils. 2. Each pairs will be given 1 stanza.3. Pupils to recite the poem in the form of a rap.4. Pupils to rap the poem with actions (they create their own actions to suit the stanza given to them).5. Pupils (in pairs) to create 1 stanza of their own the dark poem based on the guidelines given. 6. Pupils present their work. To build confidence as they perform in front of the classroom.
