LOW VOLTAGE EL LAMPS

Visual can now offer a new low voltage EL lampsolution, which is driven at 30 volts or less insteadof the usual 110volts. These EL lamps have theaddit ional advantage of being more resistant toharsher environmental conditions as well as operatingin a more stable manner, resulting in a longer usefullamp life. They are an ideal solution for applicationswhere public safety regulations are an issue.

as the relative ambient humidity. Visual minimisesthe adverse effects of humidity by utilizing microencapsulated phosphors in the construction of itsEL lamps. Furthermore, we modify the constructionof the lamps depending on the environmentalconditions of the application, so as to maximizethe EL lamp performance and lifetime. Visual alsoadvises how to best drive its EL lamps so as toachieve maximum efficiency and minimise stresson the lamp, which causes the subsequent damageand deter iorat ion of lamp performance.
