This workshop will cover Merit Badge Requirements 1-4 of the 2016 Printing of the Merit Badge Series. To complete this Merit Badge, you must complete Merit Badge Requirement 5-8 on your own.

FIRST AIDMERIT BADGE WORKSHOP

Saturday, January 13 OR April 7, 2018: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Cost: $25 per scoutScouts will have the opportunity to learn, practice, and be tested on the Merit Badge requirements. This work-shop will cover Merit Badge Requirements 2a-c and 3-7 of the 2015 Printing of the Merit Badge Series.

You will need to bring:1. Blue card signed by your Scout Master.2. Merit Badge Requirements 1 and 2d must be

completed in advance:• Requirement #1 is completion of Tenderfoot,

Second Class & First Class First Aid requirements. Bring BSA Handbook or note from your Scout Master for verification. Please review this material; you will be quizzed.

• Requirement #2d is to prepare a first aid kit for your home. Bring this kit to the workshop and be able to discuss its contents with the counselor.

3. First Aid Merit Badge Book is recommended. 4. A copy of the First Aid Merit Badge Worksheet.5. Writing Materials.6. Brown bag lunch.

HEALTH RELEASE FORMSA completed Health Release Form must be presented upon arrival at the Center before the Merit Badge Workshop. If no Health Release Form is presented, an adult must stay with the Boy Scout for the entire duration of the program.

Has your scout completed all requirements of a Merit Badge and is now ready for that final Merit Badge Signoff? This year we have set up Boy Scout Signoff Clinics on the following dates and times:

Sundays, September 17, 2017, January 14, 2018 and June 10, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Tuesdays, November 14, 2017 and March 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
