Labcraft are sponsoring a rally team led

by 17 year old Tom Clark, who is aiming

to win the BRC rally championship

this year. Labcraft have funded the

purchase of the Subaru Impreza rally

car for the forthcoming season that will

enable Tom to go from 0–60mph in

just three seconds. “I cannot thank them

enough,” said Tom. “This gives me a real

opportunity to have a shot at winning

this year and the car looks really good.”

The first race was the Rallye Sunseeker

International in Bournemouth and was the

first test run for the new car. Tom and his

co-driver, Alistair Wyllie, didn’t want to

push the car too hard and were pleased

with their overall 8th finish, commented;

“Now I know what to expect from the

car we are all really looking forward to

the Bulldog Rally in April”.

Labcraft have extended their LED

Worklite range to include a version

especially designed for mobile use.

This new version has been fitted with a

powerful unique magnet which has been

designed for use on all vehicles without

causing any damage to the paintwork, so

it can always safely be placed in position

and then removed numerous times.

The magnetic LED Worklite has

been designed to be powered from any

vehicle with a standard cigarette lighter.

A four metre extendible cable (length

when stretched) enables the user to

install and power the light quickly and

easily. Utilising high light output LEDs,

the LED Worklite will offer 900 lumens

of light whilst using only 1.1A (at 12V)

which is 70% less energy than halogen

versions allowing the light to be used for

longer without causing flat batteries. ■

The New Versatile Magnetic LED Worklite

DiStribution SucceSS in Spain anD portugaL

cargoNet AS, Norway’s largest rail freight operator, have been introduced to Labcraft lighting by hellanor A/S.

earlier this year cargoNet approached hellanor looking for a lighting solution to safely illuminate the engine compartments of their freight trains and the Labcraft hyperlux was selected due to it’s brightness and compact design.

cargoNet have been testing the hyperlux over the last 3 months and are now ready to complete the installation to this entire range fitting a quantity of 10 lights in each compartment, with further projects to follow. ■
