In the first stage* of the waltzAll alone, you're smiling already. In the first stage of the waltzI'm alone but I catch sight of youAnd Paris which beats each measureParis which measures our excitementAnd Paris which beats each measureWhispers to me, whispers very low

A waltz in triple timeWhich offers still more timeWhich offers still more timeTo present the turnsIn the direction of loveCharming as it is.A waltz in quadruple timeIt's much less dancingIt's much less dancingBut just as charmingAs a waltz in triple timeA waltz in quadruple time,A waltz when you're twenty***It's much more arousingIt's much more arousingBut much more charmingThan a waltz in triple timeA waltz when you're twentyA waltz in hundred timeA waltz when you're a hundredA waltz that is heardAt each intersectionIn Paris which loveRenews in springtime.A waltz in thousand timeA waltz in thousand timeA waltz took the timeTo wait twenty yearsFor you to be twentyAnd for me to be twentyA waltz in thousand timeA waltz in thousand timeA waltz in thousand timeOffers to lovers aloneThree hundred thirty-three times the timeTo build a romance.
