SUGGESTIONS FOR HOW TO LEARN VOCABULARY:

• On a piece of paper, write the Spanish words you need to learn in one column.

• Write the English definitions next to the Spanish, in the next column.

• Then, fold your paper so you cannot see the English definitions.

• Try writing the English without looking at your book.

• For those you miss, “cheat” and look at the English you hid from view when you folded your paper.

• Keep folding the paper, drilling yourself on the English and the Spanish, until you have learned the words well.

• Then, REPEAT the same exercise, but holler out the definitions. (Don’t forget to “cheat” and look at the original sheet you used to write out all the Spanish and English words!)

• This works really well! You should be able to learn a list of 25 words in around ten minutes!
