What is the DYNAMIC LEARNING PROGRAM?

Founders of the Dynamic Learning Program and RamonMagsaysay awardees Dr. Christopher Bernido and Dr.

Ma. Victoria Carpio-Bernido.

The Dynamic Learning Program (DLP) is a synthesis of classical and modern

pedagogical theories adapted to foster the highest level of learning, creativity, and

productivity especially in the sciences, mathematics and humanities. This framework

of teaching was developed by Ramon Magsaysay awardees Dr. Christopher Bernido

and Dr. Ma. Victoria Carpio-Bernido, both Physicists from the University of the

Philippines.

The DLP shifts from the traditional method of teacher-based learning to student-based

where there is an assurance that 70% of the subject activities are done independently.

DLP has been proven by scientific studies and through actual implementation that 70-

80% student activity plus four (4) academic days, less cost on textbooks and

zero (0) homework will lead to better student performance.
