Cantiere del Puntone is part of the Nautor’sGroup.The shipyard who employs 45 persons iscompletely operational and covers workssuch as painting, woodworks, metal works,mechanics, electricity and electronics.

Cantiere del Puntone is built on 8000 squaremeters of new concrete ground and hasfacilities for water collection and treatment.

A travelift of 110 tons capacity (MarineTravelift), a 30 tons crane with 32m jib, a 3tons fork lift, a 40 tons boat mover and ascissor lift guarantee today safe handlingoperations of all kinds of boats.

The new Yacht Club will be a never ending emotion to his members.

The Tuscany Yacht Club, is based on the Club Nautico Scarlino experience, established in 2002 is the expression of group of people who are passionate about the sea and sailing and who have chosen “La Marina di Scarlino” as their base.

The Club Nautico Scarlino focuses on the importance of and attention to youngsters, bringingthem into direct contact with sailing. We believe that the combination of the sea and boatingexpresses the crucial values necessary to take on life: discipline, respect for the environment,solidarity and friendship.

As one of our many activities, this is one mission we carry forward with great dedication.

Year after year our efforts have been well- rewarded although we are aware of the long road thatstill lies ahead.

Our Club also coordinates important national and internationalsporting events.We will be organizing a program geared to recreationalactivities: sailing meetings, get- togethers at the club house,fishing outings, dinners and also teaching seminars.

A good part of our efforts will go into the development of thedinghy classes, a discipline which allows the athlete to be inclose contact with the sea and the wind.

Match Racing represents the future and will be another area ofinterest for sailing lovers.

Finally, taking into account true maritime traditions, we areplanning special events featuring classical/historical yachtsand plan to establish a blue-water sailing school in the nearfuture with a special focus on seamanship..
