MAKING HISTORY! On October 24th & 25th, 2015, Universal Music Latin Entertainment made history with its debut of L Festival; the first Latin music, food, and arts festival in the US. Music fans, foodies, and art aficionados alike were immersed in the rich sounds, flavors, and colors of Latin America. Families were enthralled by the variety of activities and unique

experiences to be shared. The first of its kind in the US, L Festival united Hispanics by celebrating what makes us unique while at the same time revealing what we have in common.

30k+ PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE

More than 30,000 people attended the two-day festival celebrated in

Costa Mesa, CA. A major feat for a year-one festival in the Latin market.

NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL APPEAL

Tickets to L Festival were sold in 3 different continents and 24 different

states in the U.S. including: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois,

New York, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, and Washington, to name a few.

WORLD-CLASS TALENT L Festival’s line-up was made up of 44 different artists from 10 different countries

offering a wide variety of genres for all tastes and ages. From world-class super stars to some of the best up-and-coming Latin artists. Some of the acts who performed full sets at L Festival included: Enrique Iglesias, Juan Gabriel, Julion Alvarez, Gloria Trevi, La Arrolladora Banda el Limon, David Bisbal, Los Angeles Azules, Juan Magan, Arty, Far East Movement, D-Wayne, 3BallMTY, La Santa Cecilia, amongst 20 others.

BLUE CHIP PARTNERS In our first year we were able to secure partnerships with a number of

recognized blue chip brands as well as other local sponsors; an

impressive achievement on a first year festival.

Festival goers spent 19+ hours experiencing and engaging with all the

innovative brand activations on-site. From temporary tattoo-stations, to

photo-booths, to LIVE branded t-shirt silk screening; our brand PARTNERS

captured the attention of relevant Hispanic consumers in effective ways.

color, emotions, and expressions of social justice.

As part of L Festival’s digital campaign, UMLE leveraged its relationships with

artists/managers getting them to engage on social media and reaching out

to their own fans/followers inviting them to L Festival. The engagement

received from this support was incredibly high and very effective.
