Mr. and Mrs. Milton Smith of Cooperstown were lecent guests a t the hotne of Mr. and Mrs, Douglas Hoy. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Stoddard of Glens Falls were also at tiie Hoy hcnne. Mrs. Stoddard and Mrs. Hoy were in nurses training at the same time.

Be Masked Or Be Fined'Die Bovina Recreation club will
hold a Halloween party for the children in this area on Saturday, Oct 30, in the Community hall. Judging of the costimies will start a t 8 p. m. There will be free games, prizes and refreshments. All those not masked will be fined.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard LaFever attended the Gracc Macaluso- Ronald Kent wedding at South Kortright Saturday.
A meeting will be held on Oct 29 in the Community hall to make cancer dressings. All women in this area are welcome to help. Please bring sewing equipment.

The Rotary club of Phooiicia was host to George.W. Bagley, governor of the 2S6th district of Rotary International last week Thursday. He confered with President Frank P. Platz, Secretary Bob Gregg and committee chairman on matters of Rotaryadministration and service.
The Phoenicia Rotary dub, two years old, has increased in membership from 20 to ' 27. It has been active in service projects, not the least of which is the new student loan fimd, which this year w ^ able# to help a student go to college who otherwise could not have gone ^
