1. THIS PARCEL IS TIER 1 CLASSIFICATION UNDER THE
UNIFORM CANANDAIGUA LAKE DOCK AND MOORING LAW.

3. THIS PARCEL MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS TO QUALIFY AS
A STEEP SLOPE PARCEL AS DEFINED IN UNIFORM
CANANDAIGUA LAKE DOCK AND MOORING LAW.
An adjoining parcel where less than 20 contiguous lineal feet of
the parcel boundary adjoining the mean high water mark are not
characterized by steep slopes.
A steep slope is defined as 30° (or 57% slope) or greater as
measured from the horizontal, for a vertical height of 20 feet or
more, with the toe of the slope commencing within 10 feet of the
mean high water mark. If the toe of the slope is greater than 10
feet from the mean high water mark, it is not considered a steep
slope.

8. IF SOIL TESTS INDICATE A PHOSPHOROUS
DEFICIENCY THAT WILL IMPACT PLANT AND LAWN
ESTABLISHMENT, PHOSPHOROUS SHALL BE
APPLIED AT THE MINIMUM RECOMMENDED LEVEL
PRESCRIBED IN THE SOIL TEST FOLLOWING ALL
NYS DEC REGULATIONS.
9. ALL BED CONFIGURATIONS AND LAYOUT OF ALL
PLANT MATERIAL SHALL APPROVED BY THE
OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO PLANTING.
10. ALL PLANTS MUST MEET OR EXCEED THE
STANDARDS OUTLINED IN THE CURRENT EDITION
OF ANSI Z260.1, THE AMERICAN STANDARD FOR
NURSERY STOCK.
11. ALL PLANTING BEDS SHALL RECEIVE 3" OF DOUBLE
GROUND SHREDDED HARDWOOD BARK MULCH.
12. ALL PLANTS SHALL BE MAINTAINED AND
GUARANTEED FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM
THE DATE OF ACCEPTANCE BY THE OWNER.
13. ALL SEEDED AREAS SHALL BE MAINTAINED AND
WATERED UNTIL A HEALTHY STAND OF GRASS,
FREE OF WEEDS, IS ESTABLISHED AND (3)
MOWINGS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
14. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH
UTILITY AGENCIES TO VERIFY THE LOCATION OF
ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES PRIOR TO
COMMENCING PLANTING OPERATIONS.
15. NATIVE SHRUB SLOPE PLANTING: THE SLOPE
PLANTING SHALL CONSIST OF NATIVE SHRUBS
SPACED AT APPROXIMATELY 4 FT ON CENTER (6
SHRUBS PER 100 SF). SHRUBS SHALL BE NATIVE
SPECIES SUCH AS Rhus Typhina, Rhus Aromatica
'Grow Low', Sambucus canadensis. Diervilla lonicera,
Cornus racemosa, Amelanchier alnifolia, or equivalent
species. FINAL SPECIES SELECTION AND
ARRANGEMENT WILL BE FIELD DETERMINED BY THE
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT BASED ON FIELD
CONDITIONS AFTER CONSTRUCTION.

Seed's "TRIO SUPREME MIX" or approved
equal at a minimum rate of 6 lbs / 1000 SF.

SEEDED WITH PREFERRED SEED'S "LOW-GRO
MIX" OF HARD FESCUE, CHEWINGS FESCUE
AND SHEEPS FESCUE OR AN APPROVED
