yung-Ah is head of Environmental Markets and Innovation in theSustainable Finance Group. In that capacity,she works closely with the firm's globalbusinesses on driving market solutions andinnovative financings across sustainabilityand leads the work on climate transition andpolicy. Kyung-Ah also heads the Center forEnvironmental Markets, which partners withcorporates, non-governmental organizationsand academic institutions to facilitateresearch and develop pilot projects thatinform public policy and environmentalmarket solutions. Previously, Kyung-Ah was head of theEnvironmental Markets Group, where she ledthe global environmental initiatives for thefirm and oversaw environmental riskmanagement. Prior to her role inenvironmental markets, Kyung-Ah was avice president in the Industrials Group in theInvestment Banking Division and anexecutive director of Goldman Sachs (Asia)
LLC, where she worked in an advisorycapacity with clients across the region. Shejoined Goldman Sachs in 1998 in theMergers & Acquisitions Department in NewYork and was named managing director in2010. Prior to joining the firm, Kyung-Ahworked as a management consultant atMcKinsey & Company in Seoul, Korea, andJohannesburg, South Africa. Kyung-Ah serves on the Board ofDirectors of Resources for the Future (RFF)and Girls Inc. of New York City. She hasalso served in an advisory capacity to manysustainability related organizations and iscurrently an adviser to the New YorkUniversity's Center for Sustainable Business. Kyung-Ah earned an MBA from HarvardBusiness School and a BA from YonseiUniversity in Seoul, Korea.
