By “Unit Operations” KVT means all process-relevant system components that are characterizedby well-proven and patented KVT-designs. Unit Operations can be integrated into existingsystems as independent functional units or as extension modules that will improve the costbenefit and/or efficiency of your plant.More particularly, these are catalysts of the TARDIGRAD brand as well as a filter unit for wet gasaerosol dust loads (WESP) and an elaborate filter technology for hot process gases (DRY-FIL).

Catalysts TARDIGRADThe new KVT catalyst generation is a special withmonolithic honeycomb shape, which is extremely durable under aggressive conditions. It isused mainly for the oxidation in the first bed converter in the wet gas desulfurizationprocess, SULFOX, but can be used for many industrial applications where oxidation ofhydrogenated hydrocarbons or H2S, CS2, COS, SO2 is required, even at low temperatures.
