Kuvempu trust staff of the year 2015-16

This report includes complete one year details of all activity of the Kuvempu trust for the year of 2015-16. The Kuvempu contains the following activities they are as follows,

1. Vidya Kendra

2. Rag pecker education motivation centre

3. Education grant

4. Computer centre

5. Vocational training centres

6. Field work

Vidya Kendra:-

This activity is the major activity includes 12 month details regarding our vidya Kendra students and teacher education plan and progress. This year we have total 15 vidya Kendra’s & 17 teachers.

Individual vidya Kendra details are as follows:

1.Hullur:-Teacher: - Sumithra.c and Subith.

We have total 30 students in our tuition. All of them are improved in their knowledge comparatively from last year. We are following group study, using TLM in fantastic way, they use the library books right time. April and May 2015:- In these months we declared holidays, I conducted vidya Kendra only 19 days. In these two months I had given them the project work to improve their skills. And also I made them to play some English works. June 2015:- In this month our students attended the prathibha Karanji function conducted bridge course according to the student previous syllabus. July 2015:- In this month I taught for 1st to 4thstd students about sand craft and letters, words, roman numbers. For 5th to 7th STD students I have dictated some difficult words in English. August 2015:- In this month kids practiced copy writing, Basic English and Kannada grammar taught. Sept 2015:- In this month 1st to 4thstd students improved the reading skills. 5th to 7thstd students practiced making own sentence and giving answers for some easy questions. In this month from our trust we started dasara sports and cultural activities inter vidya Kendra competition. All the vidya Kendra students participated in this, for winners we honoured prizes and certificates (books as a prize). Midterm examination begins in this month. Kids were practiced to exam. Oct 2015:- In this month according dasara festival we celebrated festival in office and our kids won the 7 prizes 1st and 2nd prizes. Nov 2015:- In this month shankarmurthy sir visited to our vidya- Kendra. He asked some questions and makes students to read lessons and corrected the problems. Dec 2015:- In this month we had taken the students to picnic to chitradurga historical places. Jan 2016:- In this month I conduct a test for all students and who scored highest marks for them 1st 2nd and 3rd prizes given. Geetha mam and D.v.prakash sir visited or our vidya-kendra and taught oral hygiene and brushing Method and English grammar, Prakash sir guided about the activities

to students and given the books of Vishweshvarayya’s books and told them to become a good personalities. Feb 2016:- In this month govt arts collage's NSS students had visited to Hullur and with them our students also had participated in some activities with them like planting trees, cleaning of school ground and roads etc. March 2016:- In this month students had exams so we had taken classes on Sunday’s also and prepared them for exam.

Vidya kendr astudents in education grant program

2. Echagatta 1 & 2:-Teachers: - Rathnamma & Rangamma.B. We are continuing same activities from last year. In our vidya Kendra average 35 students are attending the classes. In April due to vacation we took cultural program in July classes opened we took repetition class for 2ndto 7th class on basics in august we concentrated on math’s & science for 3rd std to 7th students. We are maintaining daily teaching records. For Example: - Kannada, English dictation, reading, writing the answers to given question without seeing the book etc. April and May 2015:In these months we are given conducted summer camp for spoken English, computer class, and craft work. All the kids participated in this and enjoyed the vacation. June 2015:-In this month for all students we practiced meditation and yoga for 30 mints everyday. And trained lessons in Kannada, English, practiced Kannada othakshara kagunitha and numbers. July 2015:-In this month we taught division, multiplications and fractions. Dictated the difficult words in English for 5th to 7th kids. August 2015:-In this month we taught the lessons in science and maths, English and explained that lesson for students with tlm. Every day half hour we play some games of students.

Echagatta vidyakendra students in education grant program2015-16 Sept 2015:-We asked questions according to the lessons for 1st term exam, and practiced India map to draw themselves. Oct 2015:-In our centre we declare holiday due to dasara vocations to school. Nov 2015:-In this month practiced letters making in drawing sheet, reading Kannada and English lessons and fraction & multiplication problems and given some problems to students as home work. Dec 2015: In this month learnt tables, English and Kannada poems practiced. Jan 2016:-In this month for all students 10 min meditation practiced then which topic they are not understood that topic we were explained for individual kids. New Year celebrated Feb 2016:-In this month drawing practiced every Friday to make students happy, and explained about animals and plants by using charts.6th and 7th kids prepared for annual exam. March 2016:- This is the examination month. They were trained in all subjects to face the exam. I made them to Practice English and Kannada poems with meaning. 3) Ramenahalli: -Teacher: - Radhamma and Shankarmurthy. In this Year total 30 to 40 students are studied in our centre. We are continuing the good methods than last year. April and May 2015: - In these two months many students are attended the summer camp class due to summer vacation from 10.30am to 5pm, I had given the playing materials and TLM are used. Miss Nazeema kousar conducted the class for computer basics. Kids learnt so many things in these days in English. June 2015: - In this month all students are attended the tuition. We taught lessons by using TLM, learning materials and etc. We also gave the test in the end of this month. For failed kids we made group study and improved them from the basic. August 2015: - In this month we trained tables and kagunitha for primary kids, othakshara and some cultural activities done. All students participated very enthusiastically. In this month some Lessons are done in all the subjects and also on 15th of this month we are celebrated independence day in fantastic way. Some cultural activities also done we are invited prakashanna and geetha madam, but unfortunately they are absent.

October 2015: - In this month we taught tables, numbers, dictated the difficult words to the students daily. Nali kali cards practiced to the students studying 1st standard to 3rd standard. November 2015:- In this month I taught the higher primary students on the chapters in science and Mathematics. For lower primary students we taught tables and lessons in Kannada and English and for high school students taught lessons on social science, Mathematics. December 2015: - In this month we made the separate groups for students in Class wise and made them to ask the questions with themselves and also follow the group study by this method all are learnt very well and also the dull students are improved by this method. in this month we gathered (few teachers) in one place arranged question answer programs for our center kids.mistekes corrected in each students. Science, English and social subject lessons continued for 6th &7th kids. January 2016: - In this month also we followed same method as last month. We also gave the surprise test to the students. All are done very well in that test by that I recognised that group study is the best study for all students as last year in this month we taught about moral education,

all the charts used to train maths and Sciences subject.. February 2016: - in this month we taught English social And Maths with rhymes to primary kids and

maths lessons to 7th std kids. Test conducted as preparatory to exam.In this we made practise the

students for their annual examination. No co-curricular activities are done.

March 2016: - In this month we prepared the students for their examination very seriously by

giving the unit test every day, asking viva to them almost we covered all the chapters in all the

subjects. We clarified the doubts for the students that they have in their subjects. & asked

questions with each other. -in this month we have exams so we guided how to write exam for all

students

Ramenahalli students in education grant program 4) Sondekola: -Teacher name: - Chandrasekhar After summer vacation the vidya kendra classes started from june1 with refreshing classes, students are practiced for pre syllabus test

Sondekola orphans support In this month all the exams are closed so summer camp organized for student. Paper cutting, dolls

making practiced. We arranged cultural activities and pepper cutting works

June 2015:- the student are raised to 29 in this month we taught about months to 1st std to 3rd students

and to others Kannada English words taught

July2015:-classes conducted for 27 days the students number are raising to 37 in this month we teached

about spelling and numbers and English lessons in their subject.

August 2015:-for the Independence Day reason cultural activity, speech, dance etc. arranged.

September 2015:-we arranged test to students. prizes given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place secured kids.dull

0ctober2015:- in this month center has been runned 22days. For moharam, dasara festival we taught

about swacha bharath abiyan essay writing etc.

November 2015:-in this month center as been runned 24 days we arranged test to student to their

subject conducted .corrections guided.

December 2015:- in this month trip arranged to jog falls and sigandur.

January 2016:-in this month we arranged parents meeting. Parents are attended and discussed about

education problems and progress. Regular syllabus covered in all subject.

February 2016:- in this month students trained for annual exams.

March 2016:- in this month high school teachers are visited to see the programs report of

Students and guided about need of education to 8th and 9th standard kids.

Nandanahosuru Gollarahatti;teachers name:- ranganath and Prasanna

We started the tuition class from June second weak with 36 students in the beginning students

engaged with sports and other cultural activities faraday sharada pooja conducted with distubution of

sweets also

In july and august for lower primary students alphabets numbers tables practice and home work

given for higher primary students basic class revision and mathematics post and lesson for 4th and 7th

students since fast lesson practice in august students primary for test paper in September sciences and

English (charts, animal, vegetable) practice low primary kids.

Higher primary kids question answer in all the subject discuses poem bighearted in October students

prepare for miter examination on the exam days question paper discuses holiday given to the students

from October second weak class reopen from September second weak home work collected for 6th and

7th standard sciences mathematics( practice number system etc .)

Every day we will fallow the time table for all the subject recover all the lesson we divided the students

1 to 4th standard for Prasanna 5th to 7th standard for ranganath .

We give more consultation for dale students to imfrue skill every month monthly test will be conducted

All the national festival in our center and meeting attend in Kuvempu office we are interested to involve

in all the activities of Kuvempu.

In our vidya Kendra after summer vacation class reopened from June 15 in this month 30 students

attended the class .last year lesson revision done for all kids with basics

july:- 31 students attended 1st std to 2nd std handled in from 6pm to 6.30 pm for 3rd and 4th

environmental study given and for 5th to 6chth maths home work checked and completed for 7th kid

science lesson practiced

In august :-30 students attended in the beginning 10 mint meditation class conducted 6.30pm to

8.30class engaged 1st and 2nd lesson completed for 6th and 7th std kids with question and answer .

Independence Day celebrated.

In September: - 34 students attended. Kannada and English practiced science maths lesson

Continued, general knowledge discussed regarding social science on Friday drawing and saraswathi

pooja done every week.

In October: - kids prepared for midterm exams remarks discussed for each student

In November: - 32 kids attended & went outing to ramagiri karisiddeshwara hill (historical place) after

that maths lesson practiced for 6th and 7th kids monthly test conducted.

In December: - 38 given attended reading library books practiced dictation given in English syllabus test

given for maths and maths lesson thought the learning materials.

In January: - New Year celebrated 33 students attended student given to 7th std students mistakes

guided and concerted more on science and maths time table prepared for exam study.

In February and March: - kids prepared for annual examination.

All the meeting attended in Kuvempu house.

April: - Due to summer holiday we are arranged free computer education program for

Nagaragatta and Echagatta students

May: - due to summer holiday the students attended program of computer education drawing

and regional dance

June: - in this month there are 39 students attended program of world green day in the

presence of B E Ravi kumar President of Nagaraghatta grama panchahith and S D C president

,member ,asha workers, and our staff

July:- this month only 26th day opened in this month ( universe) there are 40 poor students

were get free teaching (cultural activity) even Friday Drawing program and every Saturday

doing Article program

August: - There are 38 students present in this month independence day so taught about to

freedom fighter life story to students and collocating the independence day with children

September: - 22nd days classes conducted here 43 poor students got free teaching. We

participated in “Ayudha Pooja” very grandly and playing games. Sports drawing. and all

students participated in cultural program who wined in the games that student got price by

management.

October: - holidays to students

November: - 24 days class conducted 47 poor students were got trained.

Every day maths lessons practiced .drawing, cultural activity done on Friday.

December: - there are 50 student’s presents in this month

In june month for the first standard students I am explained about Kannada alphabets, tables from 1 to 8, numbers from 1 to 100. For the second standard students Kannada difficult

words, tables from 1 to 15 explained. For the third standard student’s letters introduction and tables from 1 to 20 are explained and for the fourth standard students I am explained the science subjects living world lesson. Students learnt all the things very neatly and carefully about the diagram in this month.

In july month for the 1st std students letter introduction, numbers from 1 to 10, kannada alphabet, directions, etc are explained for the second std students kannada difficult words, tables from 1 to 15 explained. For the third standard student’s letters introduction and tables from 1 to 20 are explained and for the fourth standard students I am explained the science subjects living world lesson. Students learnt all the things very neatly and carefully.

In august month for the 1st Std students in Kannada fill in the blanks from the toughest subject and corrected mistake and to reading practiced. For the 2nd std students robbers and returns to garden, ‘thank you the monkey’ two lesson was. For the 3rd STD students Kannada dictation words and to read the lesson were taught. For the 4th std students ‘’ajjiya jamba’’ the kannada lesson taught, in mathematics numbers writing, taught. For the 5th std students’’ malajanna malige’’ lesson taught. For the 6th std students animal protection lesson in kannada, “who will bell the cat” in English, religious and social lesson in social studies and in science daily life is need the science lessons were taught. For the 7th std students mugila- jogula lesson in kannada, renaissance lesson in social studies, animal life and human life in science, in mathematics fractions and decimals lesson, these lessons were taught.

In this month 66th Independence Day celebrated in the tuition. In this small program thanuja and group were sang the nation related prayers. Complete management taken by mallikarjun sir. Yogesh given the welcome speech and some other children’s were given the speech about the importance of our Indian independence.

In September month for the 1st Std students I am taught the numbers along with numbers from 1 to 100 and directions were taught. For the 2nd STD students fill in the blanks from their lesson in Kannada Kagunitha were also taught in the center, and also in mathematics tables from 1 to 12 explained. In science importance of festivals were explained and in mathematics subs traction and addition were explained for the fourth std students dictation words, numbers from 2to15 were explained. For the 5th standard students in Kannada negila- yogi poem, in social sindhu civilization, and In mathematics fractions and multiplication were explained. For the 6th standard students in kannada dictation and kagunitha were practiced and in lessons like dhira senani and nodona bani shilpasiri, In English dignity of labour prose and poetry pesults and proses , and in social ours important ancient monuments, the gupta age, south Indians raja’s timings were explained and in mathematics addition and other problems were explained.

In this month we were celebrated the teachers day .

In oct month we guided the students about the drawing (vegetable drawings) and explained how to paint it and also to label the parts. For the 6th and 7th standard students ‘’we taught the science diagram and to label it. And also explained about the amoeba and other single cell animals. Students learnt all the things very neatly and carefully about the diagram in this month .this month is holiday period so we engaged the kids drawing. in this month for the 1

st Std.

the second standard students Kannada difficult words in English also explained. For the third std

students 2to15 table were explained and kannada dictation dictated. In English sam and the red

STD students 2to 15 tables were taught by them only in Kannada ajjiya jamba were

explained and for the 5th

std students in kannada chala mereda Makalu. In English lesson no 1

prose and poetry. Dignity in social science was taught. Monthly test conducted.

taught in English kagunitha and to correct the sentence, …etc for the 3rd

English we are started new lesson, in science our buildings started were explained. For the 3rd

In this month for the students I am explained the diagrams of the science I am explained them to colour it. We are explained the fruits diagram also many students are done very good in that many students are very interested in the art and also they are good in the science also.

In this month we are given holidays for the students due to less strength for the purpose of the school vacation. We are explained new lesson in Kannada, In English alphabets explained; in mathematics numbers from 1to100 was explained. For the 2nd std students in kannada alphabets from a to la was explained, in English first lesson started, in mathematics numbers from 1 to 200, tables from 1 to 5 was started for the 3rd std in kannada dictation words dictated and lesson reading explained. For the 4th std students new lesson started, in mathematics numbers from 1 to 400, alphabets in kannada and also in English. For the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th std we are given the test for the general knowledge were explained. Lessons taken and daily home work continued monthly test conducted.

In October vacation given to Kendra for dasara festival .classes re opened in November month test conducted and test paper corrected corrections instructed to students all are prepared for exams accordingly their syllabus.

Vocational training center

Embroidery:-

In this academic year which students are newly joined for that students taught them basic steps of embroidery and handling of machine like using of case, putting thread in needle etc. In embroidery first step I taught them to put straight lines and curve lines, with this I taught

office bag cutting and side bag cutting. In October because of dasara festival I had conducted some competitions. In every month followed by that procedure.

Bag making

In this year joined total students were 22. Old students had 11 students. For they students we taught how to scroll a wool, how to handle the krosha then how to put ladies and gents maaflaur and how to put big wire bag lunch wire bag. In this year totally 20 students taught and left out the training.

TAILORING

This activity continue as same as last year. In dasara period cultural activity conducted prizes given to the winner (prizes are text books regarding tailoring and bag making). This is the different activity conducted this year. Special trainings done for beautician course, craft work.

Form 7 year I am working as field worker am very happy to say I also as a part of this trust & it is given

me life and name my activity y in 2015 year is as fallows .

Every month I visited all vidya kendras and given suggestions to the teachers to improve the students

in April month summer camp conducted in 3 vidya kendras janapada drawing singing dancing

practiced total 70 to 100 students participated .education grant survey done in June and july month and

education grant program done in august month. All govt schemes regarding student’s information given

to all the students. With govt support we are done castism removal program in 12 villages.

2015-16 education grant

the education grant activity is continued as last year .this year we supported 149 students for fee and materials .and more than 600 student supported for materials.30-40 primary students joined to school and collage by requesting respective school authorities. They helped our student.

as last year I am trying to improve the quality education in these kid .day by day they are improving their knowledge in education. More than 8 students joined their regular school in govt primary school. we provided snacks in afternoon and education material given ,uniform and colour cloths given to them.

In this year we donated learning corner charts to chitrahalli Govt School for maths ,science & English improvement.

Teachers training taken in Bangalore creative school for maths and English with Jayashree madam class.

Mrs.Lalithaprem and mr.prem sir visited the trust in December they guided a lot regarding every activity we are very thankful to them.
