The lye recuperator consists of a stainless steel chamber sub divided into compartments as per process requirement

All top & bottom guiding rollers in high quality execution with a high concentricity

Perforated steam pipes are provided which allow steam to be blown into the space between the cloth passage and thereby providing a sufficient removal of caustic with steam inlet control valve

An arrangement is provided for feeding fresh water wherever necessary

Mercersing is a very important preparatory process for cotton fabric.

Process involves the treatment of cotton fabrics with caustic soda having a concentration of 215-255gm/kg under maximum tension.

It is done at room temperature and the reaction time is between 40 to 60 secs.

The process results in swelling of cotton fibres which is mercerizing.
