Welcome
Due to the Summer 2021 examinations series not going ahead as
planned, teachers have been instructed to inform final student grades
based on a range of evidence.
This booklet contains the following information:
1. Details of the range of evidence that will be used to inform Teacher
Assessed Grades for students in each examination subject.
2. Details of the focus/topic of any assessments which are to be
completed to gain the required evidence.
3. Details of the dates of any assessments which are to be
completed .
It is important that students are aware of the above information to
allow them to prepare accordingly.
Please can I remind students that JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications)
states that:
Teachers will make the final judgment about what evidence will be
included and this cannot be negotiated.
Teachers will be able to provide feedback on any assessments but
will not be able to tell you the grade they have submitted the
examination board.
All Teacher Assessed Grades will be reviewed by examination
boards before the awarding of final grades.
I hope you find this information useful as you plan for your upcoming
assessments.
