Training is Shangri-La's top priority and significant resources are allocated annually to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge to be the best in their fields. This has earned the group international awards and recognition from guests, prestigious magazines as well as industry partners and has made Shangri-La one of the preferred hotel employers, with over 40,800 people serving guests with the philosophy of “Shangri-La Hospitality from a Caring Family.” Today, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts owns and/or manages 78 hotels worldwide.
