The year 2014 at PaKachele School started on a good note. We have all infrastructure from Grade 1 to
Grade 7 classrooms and furniture in place.
SUCCESSES:
• The school is now legally recognized by the Government
• We have applied to be an Examination Centre in the year 2015 and so far we have passed all the
inspections and just awaiting for the final results.
• We have been allowed by the Government to operate a special class for the deaf
• Completed building the Volunteers’ accommodation

• Maintenance
• Paying electricity and ground rent
• Psychosocial Care and Support (children’s camp)
• Paying Volunteer staff allowances
• In House training for academic staff
2. Direct and indirect beneficiaries 220 children (boys and girls) from Grades 1 to 6 plus the special class for the deaf
The parents/guardians: Taking an average family of 8 members: 220 x 8 = 1,760

4. Expected Benefits
As per our objectives:
• Primary education for the children. Giving them a strong base for basic education
• Healthy children with an alert mind after good feeding of nutritious meals
• Children who have built up resilience after the death of their parents/guardians through
psychosocial care and support (including children’s camps)
• Contribution towards providing employment to staff

The year 2014 at Kondwa Centre started on a relatively same basis as in the previous year except that we
had more children “graduating” to PaKachele School than in the previous years.
Otherwise, this year has started on a good note.
