Spring is a good time of the year to enjoy fresh, clean, cool and very comfortable outside air. Fresh sight of the leaves, flowers and branches convey the message of growth, innovation and creativity. Nature conveys the message of wake-up from the dormant state and to do something for the humankind and for the organization. This is a part of the volunteering. Organization such as ours is dependent on volunteers, Who are committed, dedicated and enthusiastic. KOJAIN would not have progressed without the active support from the founders and volunteers. Volunteers are backbone of any organization. KOJAIN has earned a good name and reputation everywhere. I witnessed it during my Fall/Winter visit to India. Wherever I went, people were praising KOJAIN and its contribution for the humanitarian services. Overall, I interacted with 24 organizations and their volunteer members, who had nothing but praises for KOJAIN. At few places, I observed KOJAIN’s name engraved on a marble or a wall along with other major donors. Organization members shared their activities and progress with me and how KOJAIN’s dollar has helped them. These organizations are eager to welcome, meet KOJAIN Community Members visiting India and share their success story. Some of the organizations’ contact information is given in this newsletter. Do take a time during your next visit and get first hand information of their activities and progress. ‘Your dollar at work’ can be observed from their activities and progress. Thank you all and looking forward to seeing you at the KOJAIN Mini-Sammelan in Edison, New Jersey, on July 5, 2007. Travel safely. Navin S.
