A graphical complaint for the head of CCD ( Café Coffee Day )

I, ABHINAV NAKRA went to Café Coffee Day outlet at Prashant Vihar, Delhi on 17/12/09.

Ordered Café Latte and Multigrain Paneer Sandwitch

There was a pamphlet on every table which asked for the contribution of Rs.5/- on every bill… (next slide shows its photo)

The pamphlet demanded Rs.5/- and bill had Rs.12/- for the contribution.

I called the manager on the floor and told him about the discrepancy and he didn’t have an answer.

So I asked him to cancel that amount for contribution on my bill, since it appeared like getting cheated by CCD.

1. How can CCD charge Rs.12/- when you are mentioning that you will charge Rs.5/-.

2. Present time is 20:00 and date is 19/12/2009, Which is about 48 hours past my first mail, why have I not got any reply regarding same, when your web site mentions that I will get a reply in 24 hours.

3. How can you add the amount in the bill, ethically you should ask the customer first, because this seems like a compulsion after the bill arrives on the table.

How can you charge tax on the contributions, as per my knowledge of Indian Tax Laws, we get tax rebates on the contributions we make…

Such contributions shall be charged after the taxes are added on the order we have placed
