NEXT MEETING — TUESDAY, MAY 10TH AT 7:30 P.M. — FR ABBATE HALL Calendar of Events: Our Council Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month. Our May meeting is Tuesday, May 10th at 7:30 p.m. in Fr. Abbate Hall, Park Ave, Monongahela PA. Nominations in May, Nominations /Elections in June. The 118th Annual Pa K of C State Convention will be held at the Ambassador Center in Erie, Pa - May 13, 14 & 15. The Bishop Phelan Fourth Degree Assembly Meeting this month will be on Thursday, May 26th Rosary at 7:15 p.m.; meeting at 8 p.m. at Our Lady Of The Valley, Donora. The Mon Valley Chapter Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 31st in Carmichaels - Refreshments 7:15 p.m. & Meeting at 8 p.m. Our Council will be selling BBQ at the Fleatique on the Mon Saturday, June 4th in Dierken’s Pharmacy Parking Lot, 100 E Main St. Mononga- hela. Your help is needed - please call Chuck - 724-255-2744. This year’s Fourth Degree will be held at St. Paul’s Seminary on Sunday, June 5th. Please notify Chuck if you are interested. Our Council will be holding our Annual Father’s Day Collection benefitti ng the Bi shop’s Project after all Masses on June 18th and 19th - Volunteers are needed! Anyone able to help please contact Chuck at 724-255-2744. Knights Line: Happy Birthday to the following Brother Knights in the month of May: SK Phillip Appolonia, SK C harles A. Brooks, Regis Leach III, James Pearce, Joseph Reale, Richard Ripepi and John Vuono. Grand Knight’s Message: Brother Knights, Congratulations to our Brother Knights, John Amon, Pat Maloy and Ralph Weber on making their Third Degree on Sunday, April 24th. It’s nice to have them involved in our Council’s good works. We will be having nominations of officers for the coming fiscal year at this month’s meeting. Please come and participate in this important procedure. Also, May is the month of The Rosary. We will be praying the Rosary with the Hol y Name Society before the 8:30 Mass on Sunday, May 8th. Hope you can make it! Knights in Action On Tuesday, April 12, Chuck Brooks, GK, presented Brother Knight Chris Polaski with our Council’s Knight of the Year Award. Chris has been a Knight since 2008 and is involved in all of our Council’s projects. Congratulations Chris, and thanks for all that you do! On April 16 & 17, our council had a speaker at all Masses explaining the Mis- sion of the Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes. An Open House was held after the Masses in FLH for anyone interested. Recruitment Weekend On Tuesday, April 26th our Council hosted the Chapter Meeting and all present toured the Women’s Mobile Clinic and saw the Ultrasound Machine purchased by the K of C and our Columbiettes.
