Aninternshipisanexperienceinwhichahighschoolstudentlearnsbytakingonaresponsibleroleasaworkerin a companyor organization and then reflects onwhat happenedwhile in theworkplace. The InternshipProgramisasupplementtoformalclassroominstruction.Itsintentistosignificantlyaddtothevitalityoftheinstructionalprogramandtoimpactthecoursesthatastudenthastakenorwilltake.Internshipsareforjuniorsandseniorsandmustbeatleast135hours.Studentswillearnacredit(1)fortheinternship.
