Sit comfortably without knee pain and strain.

The Knee-Tee supports the knee while a person is sitting with their ankle

resting upon the opposite leg. This sitting position is known as the #4 position;

a position favored by many because, whether they know it or not, it opens up

the hips to allow for a more comfortable sitting experience. Unfortunately, in

this position, the knee quickly grows fatigued and becomes pained in its effort

to support itself. Now add the weight of a little dog or cat or baby resting in

your lap and you’ll know even the smallest creature gets heavier by the

minute.

This is why I invented the Knee-Tee. I had to. I had a cat who wanted to live

most of its life nestled in my lap and I was happy to accommodate her, except

my knee would soon hurt! And then my wife and I started babysitting this

adorable baby. My wife quickly learned that the Knee-Tee was indispensable

when it came to feeding the baby while he was cradled in her lap.

I also found that the Knee-Tee made playing the guitar, while sitting down,

more pleasurable. I didn’t have to expend energy keeping my leg lifted to

support the guitar or endure distracting knee pain.

The top of the Knee-Tee has a unique pivoting ball joint system which allows

the padded knee-rest to adjust slightly to subtle leg movements while still

supporting the leg. There’s also the option of locking the knee-rest in place if

you find a certain angle that feels extra good. Just tighten the two thumb

screws on the sides of the ball joint housing.

The top has an attractive, removable, durable cloth cover that can be easily

removed should you want to wash or replace it. Just unsnap a few of the snap

buttons, and it’s off! Simple as that!

The adjustable shaft accommodates people of various heights, as well as,

chairs of different sizes. The rubber tip at the end of the shaft is textured and

bulb-like in shape for a better grab of whatever surface the Knee-Tee is

resting upon, whether it be carpeting, linoleum or hardwood floor.

Patent Ability & Engineering

An extensive Patent Search was performed by the Mars Rising Network – the

world’s largest inventor resource center. Nothing like the Knee-Tee was found

and designto exist. A provisional patent application has been filed as of

March 2016. It’s strongly believed that a granted patent can be obtained

because of the unique design and functionality of the Knee-Tee.

The Market

The domestic market alone is huge! There are over 100 million people in the

United States alone who have knee problems and many millions more who

suffer from hip pain - although you don’t need a bum knee or bad hip to

benefit from the Knee-Tee. It’s just that if you do, you’ll be glad you have a

Knee-Tee.

The average price for a simple, adjustable walking cane ranges from $25.00 to

$40.00. The Knee-Tee could fall within that range.

The Knee-Tee has the great potential to be sold in all kinds of retail outlets

whether it’s a big-box store like Walmart, Petco, Target, Babies R Us, or

smaller businesses like medical supply companies, music stores, and more.

And keep in mind, the Knee-Tee is great if you just want to sit comfortably in

your favorite chair with your favorite beverage, without anything in your lap,

and just watch TV, listen to music or simply daydream.
