Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) that helps to heal your patients’ wounds faster with fewer infections. It uses gentle vacuum pressure to remove fluid and infectious material from your patients’ wounds. It also helps to draw the edges of your

patients’ wounds together and promotes the formation and growth of new tissue.

A special dressing is applied to the wound by a trained health care professional. The dressing is then connected to the pump which applies the vacuum. The dressing is changed every 72 hours. The canister, which collects the drainage can be changed

weekly or sooner depending on the amount of drainage.

EASY CARE HAND CARE LITE HANDA light-weight WHFO, without joints, and is designed for progressive treatment/correction of the moderately to severely contracted MPs, PUPs, and DIPs by use of the three (3) graduated rolls. This item is additionally useful in the treatment palmer maceration. The “C” bar configuration helps with the more severely contracted figures. The Easy Care Hand may be initially used without the foam rolls; adding them as the patient progresses. The Easy Care Hand reverses moderate to severe flexion and or spasticity of wrist, hand and/or fingers.

While similar to the standard Care Lite Hand, the Care Lite Soft-Thumb has a non-conventional thumb support. It does not have a mold-able metal platform for the thumb. However, it holds the thumb in the “C” position with a “padded, cupped strap” attached in alignment with the MPs. The Soft-Thumb is unique to the market and comfortable.

The Care Lite NT has all the same benefits of the regular Carelite, however, this hand does not have the “thumb” trough and may be used simply as a “resting hand” with the ability to deviate the wrist. The fully adjustable, deviating Care Lite NT provides progressive, static positioning for the treatment of the mildly to severely contracted wrist, hand, and gingers. The CareLite NT provides a custom fit for even the most difficult contractures and joint deformities. “Bend-to-fit”

The Care Lite Hand is fully adjustable, deviating hand orthosis that provides progressive, static positioning for the treatment of the mildly to severely contracted wrist, hand, fingers, and thumb. CARE MAX AIR HAND CARE RESTING HAND “SPLIT FINGER”The Care Max Air Hand provides support and treatment of

wrist/hand contractures while simultaneously treating moderate to severely contracted fingers with prolonged low load stretch. Extremely light weight offering color coded straps and simple “bend to fit” makes the Care Max Air Hand the perfect choice. Two (2) air bladders included. Removable air bladder may be used with wrist support or independently.

Adjustable WHFO designed for the treatment/ correction of wrist, hand and finger contractures. The ulnar/radial tabs prevent/ treat deviation. Additionally the “Split Finger” design has made this hand successful when used in the treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture. This orthosis is perfect for the hard to fit finger contractures. The two finger tabs adjust independently. Simply bend to fit the patient.

RANGER ELBOW CARE REST ELBOW

This Hip-Abductor has bilateral thigh cuffs with an adjustable spreader bar. The Hip-Abductor treats tight hip abductions and knee scissoring due to immobility or trauma. The Hip-Abductor allows for gradual increase in width. It is comfortable for the wearer and can be used seated or supine. The Hip-Abductor does not have to be removed from patient to adjust. There is no exposed metal and no tools are needed. There is an optional Air Assist option that has bilateral cuffs attached to an air bladder for use in the extremely tight abductions and scissoring. The Air Assist may be attached to the bilateral thigh cuffs and inflated gradually to increase width.

The Care Rest Elbow is a “static” elbow. It is extremely light-weight, designed to provide progressive treatment and/or correction of elbow flexion contractures, for treatment after surgery or injury, and for patients with flexor tone. A great alternative to serial casting. The Care Rest Elbow has a single upright joint with adjustable, fully padded cuffs. The Care Rest Elbow is easy to adjust-simply turn the knob to loosen and disengage the “teeth”, rotate to desired setting at 10 degree increments, and securely tighten the knob.

HIP-ABDUCTOR

The Ranger Elbow orthosis has an adjustable position locking joints ideal for elbow contractures to support protect and correctly position the elbow joint in maintaining gains achieved during ROM therapy and preserving existing ROM. Patented joints adjust in 10 degree increments to provide conservative stretch therapy. The bilateral hinges also assist in opening the ante-cubical area aiding in the prevention and treatment of skin breakdown and microbial growth; allows for daily hygiene, clinical inspection and air circulation. The unique design of the “cupped” elbow pad assures that the splint will remain in the proper location for maximum benefits.

The Care Bendable Elbow is an easy-to-use bendable orthosis used for gradual extension of non-fixed contractures. This orthosis is great as a “resting” splint, stabilizing, or for wound care positioning. The Care Bendable Elbow is often used to treat mild contractures where space is often limited.

RANGER EZ LOCK KNEERANGER AIR KNEE

The new CareBoot II Soft Heel provides a passive resistance for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis, relief of heel pressure for treatment and/or prevention of pressure sores, prevention and/or treatment of plantar flexion contractures. This CareBoot is designed for correct and/or restore lower extremity disorders, such as foot drop. Features include open heel for proper circulation, adjustable heel elevation, adjustable dorsiflexion and inversion/eversion straps. Medial and lateral support, semi-rigid removable plastic inserts for foot and side panels, non-skid bottom facilitates ambulation.

The Ranger Air Knee has a one-piece liner made of moisture wicking material, and is thoroughly padded throughout. A fleece lining is also available. Patella pads are included and may be ordered with or without fleece. The removable air bladders are placed at the posterior aspect of the knee, adding mid to moderate support. The used of the air bladders in conjunction with the same easy-to-use progressive flexion/extension control hinges as the Ranger Knee, can provide a prolonged, low-load static stretch. This brace is ideal for patients with a mild to severely contracted knee.

CAREBOOT II SOFT HEEL

The Ranger E-Z Lock Knee is a double upright metal hinged knee brace designed to provide progressive treatment and correction of knee flexion contractures in “non-ambulatory” patients. To use, simply slide the black button to unlock position, this allows for free range of motion. When desired degree is reached, slide button back into the locked position for a static locked position. In the un-locked position, it is not necessary to remove splint from patient during physical therapy.

All CareBoot IIs are designed for systemic treatment of foot drop, internal and exterior hip rotation and pressure sores due to illness, trauma or immobility. The floating heel design eliminates pressure on the heel, enhancing blood circulation. Also prevents heel decubitus. All CareBoot IIs are made of high quality KYDEX and are heat-moldable. The D-Flex straps add a controlled static stretch of the plantar flexors, treating contractures, spasticity, inversion/eversion, pressure sores, and hip rotation.
