Be careful when removing lids from boiling water. You do not want to get

a steam burn.

*Tip #1: Be careful when you cook.

Safe. Even safer!

* Tip #2: Turn pan handles in. This way you wont spill hot food items and get burned.

You can save money on power when you unplug items when not in use.

Heating element items are especially unsafe to leave plugged in.

*Tip #3: Unplug small appliances when you are not using them.

*Tip #4: Clean up spills immediately so no one slips and falls.

Cut carefully and pay attention

Leave knives where you can see them for cleaning.

*Tip #5: Be careful with sharp objects.

*Tip #6: Wash your fruits and veggies!

Wash pesticides that might be on your food.

*Tip #7: Check expiration dates on food when you buy groceries.

*Do not purchase spoiled food.

*Check the date of your food purchase like milk, eggs and cheese.

Clean out your refrigerator so spoiled food doesn’t create mold and grossness .
