Kölefors Axes

Equipment for woodworking has a long tradition in our facility were they previously produced axes in large numbers. Production started in the early 1900s and they became famous for their high quality all over Europe.

Firewood machines

We have over the years developed and sold many different models. One of the most popular was called Super-Combi and was built in large numbers during the 90s. Many of these machines are still in operation today at firewood dealers across Europe.

Tradition and high qualityAlready at the beginning of the last century Kölefors was known for their quality and craftsmanship, back then it was axes that was in production. Since 1980 we develope and manufacture machinery for firewood production.We work hard to keep our high standard and fast service to our customers.

KISAVED KUBIK is a machine designed for continuous firewood production and high capacity.

We use the welknown and effective Parker F11 saw motor. The saw bar is automatically pushed down by a cylinder when you start the saw motor. The chain runs only when you are cutting. An hydraulic log holder keeps the log in position when the saw motor is running.An adjustable chain oil pump automatically lubricates the saw chain and bar during operation.

The machine is very easy to operate thanks to the control panel where you control all of the hydraulic functions - feeding belt, splitter knife height adjustment, log holder, chain saw and starting the splitter.From this position you have a good view over the whole production line and you can also control the step feeder, log feeder and the conveyor.

The log table with the 2 meter long feeding belt efficiently transports the log into the machine from the log feeder.The log stops automatically when the log reaches the desired cutting length. The belt is also reversible.The driving rollers on the log feeder rotates at the same time as the feeding belt.

KISAVED KUBIK is powered by an 11 kW electric motor with two hydraulic pumps. The chain oil tank is placed with easy access when filling.The machine is standard fitted with oil cooler. Sockets for conveyor and dust fan is placed under the electric box.The machine is delivered with splitting knifes for 4 & 6 parts.

A complete production line that can be operated by one person.

We recommend that you build a roof to protect you and the machine from snow and rain. This roof is 10x5 meters.

To increase the capacity - feed a new log with the step feeder immediately after the previous log has left the log feeder, keeping the machine busy.

The log is transported up step by step by the black, moving part. Built with 15 mm steel and double hydraulic cylinders.

The step feeder is connected to the hydraulics on the machine and is easy to control with a lever on the panel.

To avoid pushing the logs by hand - purchase a step feeder that will transport the logs one

by one up to the log feeder.

The log feeder transports the log into the firewood machine.

The hydraulic motor on the log feeder is connected in series with the feeding belt motor on the firewood machine making the driving rollers and the feeding belt moving at the same time, forwards and backwards.

Controlled from the panel with the same lever as the feeding belt.

We do not mount a conveyor on KISAVED KUBIK, instead we use a 6 meter HP300 conveyor that is easy to turn sideways. We recommend that you use 3-4 firewood containers next to each other.
