All sales are final. Auction items, except where specified, are not exchangeable, refundable or transferrable. Everything is sold “as is.” Please read the specifications and restrictions carefully. Descriptions of Auction items are for the purpose of identifying the items only, and The Kinkaid School, the Auction Committee, and the donor disclaim any expressed or implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder must rely solely on bidder’s own investigation of the items.
By his or her purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liability against The Kinkaid School, the Auction Committee or the donor of the item or service. The Kinkaid School, Auction Committee or the donor is not responsible for any injury or damage to property that may result from the use of the item or service sold.
Payment in full the evening of the Auction is mandatory! Check, MasterCard, Visa and American Express will be accepted as payment. There will be no school charges. To expedite the check-out process, a station will be available at the check-in tables for bidders to pre-scan their credit cards.
The Bidder is financially responsible for the use of his/her bid number.
At the end of the Auction, all items must be removed after showing a paid receipt. Only large items, such as furniture, may be left. These items must be picked up between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Unless otherwise specified, all services must be used by February 20, 2017.
Reservations for uses of homes, boats, tickets, etc. must be arranged with the item donor by the successful bidder, unless otherwise specified. Arrangements should be made as soon as possible so the buyer will have the best chance of obtaining reservations on the dates desired. No pets and smoking at vacation homes unless approved by the donor.
NO UNCHAPERONED TEENAGERS AND OR COLLEGE STUDENTS MAY USE AUCTION TRAVEL AND HOME PURCHASES.
In most instances, the donors have established the Fair Market Value (FMV) of the items offered. Where a FMV is not specific, the buyer should consult a tax advisor as to the deductibility of the individual items. The Kinkaid School and the Auction Committee cannot guarantee values for tax purposes.
Decisions of the Auctioneer are final.
Only an authorized Auction Official may nullify a bid.
The Auction Committee reserves the right to remove an item from the Auction.
Group bidding is an excellent way to join together and share many of the larger items, e.g. trips, parties, etc., available in the Silent and Live Auctions. Group bidding is definitely encouraged. One person must be responsible for the bidding, for organizing payment for the item and for notifying Auction officials as to the names of all bidders in the group.
Most items have expiration and blackout dates. Restaurant certificates typically exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity. Please examine your packets and/or gift certificates upon receipt for all applicable limitation and restrictions.
When the donor has not provided a gift certificate or the Auction Committee has not produced one, the signed form in the buyer’s packet will serve as the gift certificate.

The Live Auction will begin at approximately 9:15 pm and will continue without interruption until all items are sold.
To make a bid, the bidder raises his or her bidding paddle, directing the signal to the Auctioneer or one of the spotters, whose job it is to relay bids to the Auctioneer. If more than one bidder makes the same bid, the one acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the high bidder.
The highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the buyer. In the event of a dispute, the Auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the winning bidder or to re-offer and resell the item in dispute.
Each winning bid will be recorded by an Auction Official and entered on the buyer’s Auction account to be paid at the end of the evening.

Vroom, vroom!! It is time for Formula One in Austin. This package includes eight tickets to a fabulous two-story suite located on turn two of the track at the top of the hairpin turn down the main straightaway and provides great views over that part of the track. The Formula One cars approach the turn at 188 mph and the turn just past the suite, which provides some excellent passing opportunities. The bottom floor of the suite is enclosed, air-conditioned and has a private bathroom. Three flat screen TVs are on display around the suite to provide better viewing for all guests. Formula One is October 21-23, 2016. Each ticket includes access to the track suite for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, access on Thursday to walk the track, two parking passes and general access to the post-race concert on Sunday.
