Inthismonth’sletterwewouldliketoconcludeourexcerptfromthesoonto be released book by Apostle Brandon Bailey titled: “Epistles To The21STCenturyChurch”.CrossPollinationIsNotUngodlyCross pollination was a term coined in the New Apostolic ReformationthatspokeagainsttheideaofmixingconceptsfromotherseasonswiththecurrentseasonofGod.OneofthemistakestheApostlesofthe1990smadewas to vehemently preach against cross-pollination. This term in myviewsissimplyamyththatcreatesafalsespiritualutopiaofsuperiorityintheapostolicreformation.EverynewseasonorwaveofGodhasinherentattributesofapreviousseasonorwaveofGod.The21stCenturyApostlecannotpreachagainst cross-pollination.Thereare things thathavebeencarriedforwardineverymoveofGodandsomeApostlesdiscardthepriorwavebecauseof theirunhealthyobsession tobedifferentandexclusive.ThisisperhapstheAchillesheeloftheapostolicmovement,theneedtobedifferentandexclusivewhichmostlyleadstoheresyandweirdness.The continuity of Cross Pollination is perhaps the one thing that hasbrought seamless continuity tomost of what God is doing in the earth.When we understand diversity and also develop an honesty of ourweaknesses in termsofhowwedochurchwewill learnmore fromoneanother, irrespective of the stream we belong to or advocate. Crosspollination will become more normal and it will not be built on thepremise of compromise but on the premise of learning, growing andexchanging of concepts that work and enhances our expression andcontributiontothebroaderBodyofChrist.Thereisadeepvalueincross-pollination.TheNewApostolicReformationmust show greater appreciation for the wider Body of Christ and growway beyond the narrow perception of exclusion and isolation. When we try to establish rank through the process of titles or titularstructuresweenduplosingourfunctionandpurposebecauseweseektobe the most decorated Apostle but at the same time become the mostuseless Apostle. The Apostle is known by his work and labour of loveamongstthesaintsandnothistitle.Thisgenerationmustshiftfromtitularimportance and arguments of rank to a level where we become highlyfunctionalanduseful to thesaints.Apostlesaredifferentbutdifferencesdonot speak to ranking in theBodyofChrist.Are theSaintsbenefittingfrom our apostolic ministry? Are the Saints perfected by our claims toapostleship?Wemustbefunctionalandnottitular.Whenasked,“Showuswho you raised up and perfected in their calling andministry, show usyourfruits,”oureffortsshouldmirrorourlabours.ApostlesAreNotCalledToCleanTheChurchButToBuildTheChurchWhenever churches transition into the apostolic the first argument thatmostApostlesestablishisthatGodiscleaningHisChurch.Thisargumentis established to justify the obvious decline transitional churchesexperience when they embrace the apostolic way. This argumentunfortunatelyisbaselessandhasnobiblicalprecedence.Apostlesarenotcleaners theyarebuilders.ThemoderndayApostlemust increase inhisbuildingcapacityandquitruiningchurchesandjustifyingtheruinscausedwith this argument of God is cleaning his church.
